Do You Talk More Than You Listen?

Even if you often let others carry on the conversation, there's likely another conversation simultaneously going on inside your head. As the other person speaks, your mind may be racing on with its own thoughts, drowning out all words but its own.

Often the loudest, most notable sensation in our awareness is the sound of our own voice. The noise tends to drown out the voice of others, but more importantly, the noise of our own inner dialogue often drowns out the voice of our own spirit within us.

In coaching you need to reverse this trend and begin to cultivate the art of spiritual awareness. Countless books have been written on how to create a greater sense of spiritual awareness. People have made long journeys and sought out gifted teachers who have achieved some fame in developing their spiritual awareness and teaching others the secret.

The key to spiritual awareness is no dark secret. It is, essentially, to develop the art of deep listening. You need to connect to your inner spirit and in order to do that you need to quiet the chatter in your head long enough to hear what your spirit is trying to quietly tell you.

Now focus on listening for your feelings. As you hold that focus, begin to deepen your ability to listen for the words and feelings and beliefs of others. The good news is that you don't need a special hidden, secret method or complicated skill set. The best way to develop the skill of spiritual listening is to practice.

Re: What inspires you? Re: What inspires you? - Inspiration is nothing it is what you called to do? Some work for money, some work for satisfaction, some work because they have priorities in life. It is the passion to do something for achievement or to show that you can do it by using one's talent. I know there are people who are doing great things with their limited skill sets. So, my view point about inspiration is to Dream Big and try to achieve it. I would rather add "Listen to your self". Listen to Inner guide and follow it. You will reach great heights. Robert

Basically, help others in your market out and build relationships with people. Be someone who gives, not takes. I'll keep them in mind if I go back to social media marketing. I'm currently in the SEO phase of my business.
