Build Your Business with The 5 A’s Method
Arousal
- How are you exciting your audience? What methods do you use?
- Assumptions—What are the basic ones people make about you and your offering?
- How do you create a desire and urgency when people don’t even know they need you!
- How do you know you’ve succeeded in enticing a prospect?
- How much fun do you have getting the above done?
- What you do is driven by who you are!
- Why are you in business?
- How high is The Friendship Factor—trust, love and money—in your company? There is a direct correlation to customer loyalty.
- What are your attitudes about the Universe? Friend or foe?
- Non-competitive—Are you constantly viewing some else’s behind? Remember that sled dog joke.
- Your personal focus-what do you get from this business?
- Have you caught TQ-itis yet? It is contagious.
- When was the last time you gave positive credit to some else?
- What was your last act of appreciation to your clients, family, or friends?
- How responsive are you with industry pertinent data/congratulations to other you read about?
- Create a clear message of how you can serve people.
- Teach others how to find you & how to do business with you.
- Use your existing tools you have more effectively:
- Do you have a rude Voice Mail? Be welcoming, check your tone of voice, spotlight an upcoming event. Callers don’t care that you’re taking care of others or washing your car. You’re not available for them so make it up to the caller with when they can expect a response from you.
- When you answer a call, how prepared are you to respond to caller without putting them on hold?
- Is it indicated in your collateral?
- How about your electronics—email signature, newsletters or blog, for example.
- How adaptable are you to others’ schedules and timing?
- How do you share the possibilities for success? Achievement? Results?
- Who are you mentoring, role modeling? If not, find someone. We learn more when we teach.
- When was the last time you tuned up your own aspirations?
- Are you promoting others as a Master Storyteller? Talking about others rather than yourself?
