A great business lesson-learned is that it takes much more effort to sell an idea than it does to create one. Just because you have the can-do in place doesn't necessarily mean that the should-do exists. The build-it-and-they-will-come concept derives from the mentality that the buyer is just sitting by waiting for the opportunity to open her wallet when the next best ___ (you fill inthe blank) appears. The truth is, every customer wants to be motivated to buy and encouraged to believe that their decision to purchase was inspirational at best and intelligent at worst.
