March is National Women's History Month. Why women's history? Because every girl and woman has the right to know that another of her gender has gone before her and that her dream has potential. Recognizing not only the challenges but also the achievements of women in hsitory provides the foundation for every female to chart her own course. Respecting the journey of those who fought for the vote and the right to be educated and to receive equal pay encourages us to push harder in our own paths. Whatever your dream is, remember those who have gone before you. Now it is your turn to make history. There are more than 10 million woman-owned businesses in the United States and the number continues to increase. Starting your own business is all about making your own history.
