TEN Qualities of a Dream Maker
1. Every Dream Maker understands there is a web of energy:
This web permeates everything and it is intelligent. It responds to human emotion, thoughts, and creates vibrations that have the ability to heal the cells of our body or any circumstance. Some call it the Mind of God, in Quantum Physics, the Void or the ground of all being-ness. There is a unique plan for your life. Listen to God, Spirit, The Ultimate Source, Ground of our Being and it's just up to YOU to
discover it, then declare it - to the world, should you want. It's your grand purpose in life and it is supported in ways you cannot imagine. You would never be "given a great dream" through your IMAGINATION without your having the potential to achieve it.
2.Every Dream Maker has a VISION:
They can tell you in great detail what they wanted and where they were going. They could see, smell, taste, feel and sense what success is when they get it. A vision for the future, that will capture your entire heart
and at the deepest level, your spirit and soul. They see the future.
3. Every Dream Maker knows to use positive, loving statements to create. To create the experience of the dream itself and not the experience of hope, wish, want, need or try.
e.g. Hoped a situation would get better
Wished you were healthy
Wanted to be happier
Needed more money
Tried to do something or fix something
These create just an experience of hoping, wishing, wanting, needing or trying and not the actual dream. Ever need more money and have it disappear. It is interpreted, as your dream is to need more not have it.
Ever want a new car. Then your existing car needs repair. The experience of wanting a car is created instead of the actual car.
Using any of these scenarios, you have created an experience of ‘want’ and found your present situation either continuing unchanged or worsening, because you actually created it into your own reality.
4. Every Dream Maker has clarity and chooses the results.
Ever created a job to have money, so you can buy something or spend the money on something that made your happy. It isn’t until the last ‘create happiness’ that the universe became aware that the experience you desired was happiness in the first place. If so, then working for the money would not have been necessary in order to achieve happiness. This is like sneaking in the back door.
5.Every Dream Maker has PASSION:
They are excited, can’t wait to get up in the morning. Their vision holds deep meaning. Passion is love. Love permeates all life. Allow your Dream to be
at the forefront of your life, the "core of your being". It will motivate, inspire and energize you by giving you a SENSE OF PURPOSE - essential.
6. Dream Makers are aware of the timeframe, Now, Present moment.
Their past doesn’t exist n emotion—only the wisdom gained from the experience. The never use phrases such as:
Going to
Will be
Eventually
Some day
In the near future
Soon
Later
When it’s supposed to be
IF it’s meant to be
Create an open-ended timeframe. If you say, “I am going to start a new successful venture”, then the success of that experience may never happen because of going to.
A better way to state this is: My new venture reached $l, 000,000 sales in December, 2003. I have 15+ staff members, etc.
7. Dream makers engage certitude.
If you do not believe something, it’s because you have not had the experience yet to know it is true. Get the education of what the dream is about, visualize or imagine it over and over. When you accept the dream it becomes the experience. It's a positive pattern of thinking, a great attitude/mind-set to have, which will propel you down the road to success. Think abundance and prosperity and not lack.... and you will draw it to yourself from the Universe When dreaming, it is imperative to know that it is already done. Believe in yourself with honesty and humility and not arrogance. It's not being "big-headed" saying things, like "I am unique, somebody special, I KNOW I can make a
difference.
8.Every Dream Maker has a STRATEGY:
They have a plan. Every Dream Maker has PRIORITIES. They know when to say “no” and when to say, “yes” in order to stay on the path to their goals. They know the responsibility of each act and takes responsibility for themselves. Achievers are dreamers and DOERS. Take small steps and you'll find that one step leads to another, then the next. Evaluate your strategies and tactics. How effectively are you progressing down your chosen path? Are you getting the results expected and what you desire?
If not, try another approach.
9.Every Dream Maker has ENERGY.
They take care of themselves both physically and emotionally. They have a healthy lifestyle and do not stay in relationships that are draining.
10. Every Dream Maker has a nucleus of PEOPLE around them who are excited for them, support them and are invested in them (Dream Makers, not Dream Breakers).
As Zig Zigler wisely said, "You get what you want, by helping other people get what they want." In turn, if you need help with something, don't be afraid to ASK politely. People like helping others...and everyone has unique skills and knowledge, that they like sharing. Every dream takes a team.
