What Do You Want to Be When You Grow-Up? Really, what do you?
I was recently asked that question by a colleague of mine, and without hesitation, the words just rolled out of my mouth.
When I was a little girl, I always wanted to grow up to be a Doctor. I remember my first "Play-Doctor" set my Mom gave me when I turned 6.
My Dad on the other hand, was not too keen on the idea as he viewed little girls as nurses, never doctors. (I know; kind of Cave-Man mentality!)
I'd be giving "Free Physicals" to the kids in the neighborhood, and a clean bill of health was had by all. I also knew in order to do my best work while "examining" all these kids with the fake stethoscope, I needed to delegate smaller tasks to others, like take a number or make an appointment. So telling others to help out and seeing to it that it got done, became second nature to me.
We had to leave our Homeland at an early age due to the Castro-Cuban Communist Regime, and once in the States, I worked very hard to support my family and two younger sisters as I went to school to secure an education.
Though I didn't make it to Medical School, I learned the importance of possessing business acumen, and wound-up working in the medical field (big suprise, right?) and later became the proud owner of a very successful, Medical Dictation and Transcription computereized service in the tri-county area of South Florida, USA. (Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties)
I knew I was meant to "heal and spread the knowledge of my expertise" and that I do through my thriving personal development and strategic coaching business helping others achieve their ambitions, aspirations, and full potential to create businesses and lifestyles of their dreams! Wealth is meant to serve your needs....and that's what I help clients do, in TWO LANGUAGES!!! How cool is that!
Life is calling me to do more personalized group and one-on-one coaching, and I want to make sure you know that so that I can be there for you when you need me. These are extraordinary times we are all experiencing and now more than ever it is important to have a coach or mentor by your side to guide you through your own life's journey so that you can fulfill your destiny. I would love to be the one helping you through it.
So now I ask you: "What do you want to be when You Grow-Up?
