There are only 10 reasons why you should write a book and what it can do for you.

To build your credibility and expertise within your niche market.
To position yourself as an expert within your industry.
To educate your customers and/or employees about your beliefs and values.
To create an invaluable marketing tool for your business.
As a means to build your network and promote awareness around your business.
To use as an ongoing source of inspiration for other writing projects such as your blog, newsletter, ezine and/or weekly tips.
To increase the number of people that subscribe to your newsletter and blog, be sure to invite your readers to sign up for these tools in the book.
To build customer loyalty.
To encourage customer engagement about your products and/or services.
As an overall marketing fundamental which you can continue to build off of, forever.
If you still don’t know where to start, just start small. Break it down into a mini series and work from there. For example, if you are a Residential Real

Estate Agent you could write a series of mini books and call them “The Top Tens of Purchasing Your First Home”. Start with #1 in the series as Financing and work up from there.

Once the series is finished package them together as a “box set”. If you are a professional speaker you could create an audio book mini series about “How to Engage Your Audience,

100% of The Time”, and offer your top tips for successful public speaking.

Re: Joomla Now Has A GetResponse Module - Hi Kevin, Interesting that you tried Joomla and then gave up on it. So did I! There is a lot to be said for Joomla. It can make your site look very professional, you can completely change design in just a few clicks of your mouse, and if you add anything to a panel you can display it throughout your site... Also, Joomla does seem to suck in traffic. My traffic stats improved with Joomla, probably because of the interactive features it offers, such as the article directory feature and so on. However, I also experienced various frustrations with Joomla. HTML is simpler and you have complete control over your site, but you do have to recode every page when you make design changes... (unless you are prepared to learn CSS and then deal with all the browser problems...) Also, I market the Plug-In Profits Site and came to the conclusion that it would be better business practice to show my potential customers what can be done with a Plug-In Profits site by using one myself and modifying it to suit my purposes. After all, there is no better advertisement for a product than the fact that the seller also uses it! On the other hand, I know a lot of Internet marketers who love Joomla, so I think it is just a matter of choosing what works best for you. ... And if you like Joomla and use the GetResponse autoresponder service, life just got easier for you! David H

Well, I have learned from realhomebasedsuccess dot com that there are home based business opportunities and ideas that could be our option such as: -Selling Goods or Providing Services Online -Making Money through Direct Marketing -Becoming an Affiliate Marketer -Getting Paid on a Click Thru but I was thinking which is the best one and most effective in terms of generating consistent Ongoing Profits. What do you think? do you have any insights?
Working with Camtasia - For those who does not know it yet, how does Camtasia works? 1. It can record your desktop activity in a single click. No need to have to save and compile all your files because it is recorded right there and then. 2. Can easily convert your videos into web pages. Once converted you can have your customers visiting that certain page. Videos are easier to understand and take in unlike reading texts which oftentimes is a trying thing to do. 3. Upload your pages. Publish them through blogs, RSS feed and podcasts. You may want your Camtasis videos to get around and reach out to other people that may be potential customers in the future. Nothing like being visible in many sites and pages to advertise yourself and get your message through.
Re: How should i promote a new website? - One way links are the most important and valuable for a website and just a few quality one way links for site may boost ranking. Some different ways for getting one way links are: 1. Submit your site to major directories. 2. Submit articles to article directories. 3. Publish articles on your site and invite other sites to publish them on their sites, with a link to you. 4. Participate in forums which allow a text link to your site in a signature. 5. Get listed in business directories.
