The Art of Being Fearless: Knowing and Overcoming Fear In Everyday Business Life

After years of working with hundreds of entrepreneurs and small business, I know the #1 reason of failure is... fear. I believe if you procrastinate, feel stuck regularly or just plain direction-less… you are experiencing fear on some level.

I know what you may thinking… well… I do feel that way sometimes, but it isn’t because of my fears. You may even believe that you don't feel fear any more. Or maybe you have ignored these feelings so long you are in a habit of ignoring these feelings.

Well, I am offering you an opportunity to look at your fear factor today. Studies have shown that we function using the 90% of our subconscious mind. As most of us know, the subconscious mind is responsible from most of our daily habits and behaviors.

Let’s start with three questions - answer them with complete truth.

1. Do you feel you are making progress towards your ultimate vision?
2. Do you feel “stuck” more than 70% of the time?
3. Do you feel doubt or worry regularly?

If you answered yes to more than one of these questions, you could benefit with this easy fear factor reduction tool.

Number 1: Identify the simple fear. For example, I fear putting out this “named” strategy because I fear it won’t work.

Number 2: Put it through the a, b, c fear factor test.
a. Who would I be/how would I feel without this thought?
b. Could I let go of this thought?
c. When will I let go of this thought?

Number 3: Experience present action without the fearful thought.

I invite you to embrace this fearless art of living on a daily basis. Unleash your inner power of choice -- the time is now.

The Second Life Platform The Second Life Platform - Greetings! I'm not sure how many of you have heard of or are sensitive to Second Life and its related entities. However, Second Life is a fantastic platform to mimmick real life business operations in a real currency based economy. There are plenty of successful stories for creative individuals, but I'd highly suggest doing your research and appreciating Second Life for what it is, and what it isn't.

Re: Charge what you're worth Re: Charge what you're worth - [quote="Tami Szabo":292ze3jd]People will pay you what you ask. Very few will ever up the price. You are the one who decided what you are worth. The key is that we believe our services are worth the price we are asking.[/quote:292ze3jd] Hi Tami, You're absolutely right. In "Think and Grow Rich", Jessie B. Rittenhouse says "For Life is a just employer, He gives you what you ask, But once you have set the wages, Why, you must bear the task. I worked for a menial's hire Only to learn, dismayed , That any wage I had asked of Life, Life would have willingly paid" (Napoleon Hill 35). I think the same can be said when setting prices on eBay or Craigslist, especially when people are trying to haggle you.
