The Art of Leverage: 5 Secrets of Business Wealth Creation

Meet Jack.

By the end of 2007, Jack’s business made a little over $820,000 dollars. Today, it looks like Jack’s business will close 2008 at five million dollars.

Before you ask how… I want you to know that Jack is probably one of the most simple and peaceful person I know. In fact, I find whenever I make an unscheduled call to him, he seems to have all the time in the world to talk to me. Well, that is when I CAN reach him. Oftentimes I enjoy a conversation with Sandy his assistant. I learn hear that he is out playing golf or out at happy hour at 3:30 p.m. on a Thursday afternoon.

Ok, so I admit. I don’t work 40 hours a week either, but geez this man is making more and here I am working to ten times the amount. So, yes, I admit it. It has been fun watching him grow this yes, but I wouldn’t be honest if I would tell you I wasn’t the least bit jealous.

Do you want to know the secret?

What's his secret?

One single word: "Leverage"

See Jack Leverage.

While most entrepreneurs are working to land their next client, Jack is applying five principles that others entrepreneurs often neglect.

1. Intuition and Imagination: That’s right. Jack knows that when he creates an image in his mind, it is his. He listens to inner nudges and creates images of his perfect life day in and day out.

2. Multiply: Jack became very excited when I shared these principles with him over a year ago. He learned how to look at the products, services and systems that brought money into his pockets. So he tested, converted and created systems that would multiply both high selling products and the targeted audience that were purchasing these high dollar products and services.

3. Discard: Once Jack became keen about multiplying his business systems that grew wealth, he discard all the things he was doing and dealing with that wasn’t offering him a high return on investment –- a return that was in alignment with his lifestyle images.

4. Magnify: One last change Jack made. Jack began to magnify his worth both internally and externally. One simple change… he began to charge 5 times for his time.

5. Be Present: Jack lives in the present moment and makes all his decision based on what he wants to be, do or have.

Leverage. Jack. Leverage.

As Jack’s business coach, I have watched him grow as a business owner but more importantly as a person. Jack lives a life he loves in a very simple way that creates wealth as he desires.

Exclusive: Interview with Results Exclusive: Interview with Results - Hi Forum Members, I'm helping start up a Business Coaching and Consulting company here in Toronto, Ontario, Canada (a Subsidiary of RSC Business in Los Angeles). As a Research and Development Intern I am required to practice my listening and interview skills by surveying Small and Medium Businesses on thier Business. This Survey is designed by RSC Business to also assist the Business being interviewed more insight into their own business. I am looking to interview about 30 businesses across North America over the span of 3 months. At the end of these interviews I will be publishing a report of the results and they will be made available for free to the Interviewees. The Report data will include responses from a minimum of 100 interviews. I would like to extend this opportunity to members of the Forum. If you would like to have this short 20-30 minute interview conducted on your Business and you reside in North America please send me an email or PM. Please contact me at andy[at]jvprosperity[dot]com to arrange our interview and to get free access to the results when they are published.
Points which are considered in a bank? Points which are considered in a bank? - I have tried to value banks several times and found it very hard to proceed with it. I know a bit. But it seems to be too less to proceed. Can we take this up?? Here is what I know 1. Price to book is a more imp. 2. Net interest income and non-interest income need to thought of. 3. Loan loss provisioning. 4. Coverage ratio. 5. Cost of funds. 6. ROA, ROE 7. NPA 8. Deposits and advances. 9. Capital adequacy ratio 10. Tier 1, Tier 2 capital consideration. 11. Leverage, loan book value 12. LIBOR, SLR, CRR There are many more. And even in the ones above, it’s pretty hard to value a bank.
