The Art of Transforming Subconscious Habits Behaviors The 3Step Super Shift Process

As a wealth creation mentor, I have found that entrepreneurs often become stopped because of limiting beliefs, feel and just plain poor work habits. I have learned there is no better way to change and transform the subconscious patterns than by using this 3-step process and add some highly effective affirmations.

This is my own creation and I call it the Super Shift Process. Here’s how the process works. It is simply three S’s to remember.

1. Seeing: First, you have to see the behavior. For example, you if you are subconsciously eating cookies or checking email. You must see it. I suggest you do this by writing down the habit you want to change. A journal example could be.

Habit: Eating cookies unconsciously when I feel bored. (note: the habit is always connected to a feeling)

Description: Today, I found that I reached in the cookie jar 5 times.

2. Souling: Second, you have to accept the behavior in your being. Oftentimes when we see a behavior our next thought is to reprimand ourselves. By calling ourselves bad or even energetically slapping ourselves. It’s very important to accept this habit as a past mental program that you found and choose to change. Souling could also be called acceptance and choice. A journal addition could be.

I accept that today I ate cookies unconsciously when I felt bored. I choose to change this behavior.

3. Seeding: Third step is to plant a new seed in place of the previous behavior. Now, you get to choose. What do you want this behavior to be? This is very important. You need to identify the feeling that happened prior to the subconscious habit.

- When you feel ____. What is the corresponding habit?
- Example self-question: When I feel bored, what do I want my success habit to be?
- Once you establish the desired habit, create an affirmation around it and write the affirmation a least 16 times daily until the habit has transformed.

Tip: I often share in coaching sessions the importance to knowing “why” you are feeling the way you do prior to the subconscious habit. This is important for personal development whether the feelings or habits are consider good or bad in your mind.

So what’s your unwanted habit? Play with the Super Shift Process today!

I only managed to get partway through the list today because my one year old was looking for some playtime but I did read the Zen Habits one - I love reading Zen Habits while relaxing at a coffee shop!
Re: Super Mario Dethroned Re: Super Mario Dethroned - You people are crazy. Super Mario will NEVER be dethroned! Vive la Mario & Luigi! I'm sorry, but remembering those days playing Super Maria for Nintendo and wondering when I would finally hit the last level and be able to beat the evil dragon for my perfect princess will never die. Wii is fantastic, but I'd still prefer the rights to Mario - if even for sentimental value.

Video Resources Video Resources - Awesome resources - thank you Andy. I've been working on the book trailer creation and promotion chapters in my next promo book and this info is wonderful. There will be a couple more links to resources included in the book. Can you tell us some more about the Super program? I'd have to run it on my desktop after looking at the system requirements. It looks like it will do all sorts of things. Shri
