The Art of the New Wealth: A Journey of Inner Peace and Deliberate Creation

Guest post by: Jeneth Blackert

Article Overview: I recently had a client that was struggling financially and I told her to be grateful for what she had. Instead of accepting this thought, she went irate. She told me that she couldn't be grateful for her old clothes, small house and her debit. She could even be grateful for the intangible things like her angry teenager and ex-husband. In reflecting on my journey in deliberate creation with universal laws, I have found that before lived deliberately, I was overlooking all that I have. What if we could be feel glorious peace and gratitude towards every-single-thing that meets you in life? Instead of getting caught up with what we don't have and what we are striving to "get". And depressed that we don't already have what we want already.

The Art of the New Wealth: A Journey of Inner Peace and Deliberate Creation

I recently had a client that was struggling financially and I told her to be grateful for what she had. Instead of accepting this thought, she went irate. She told me that she couldn't be grateful for her old clothes, small house and her debit. She could even be grateful for the intangible things like her angry teenager and ex-husband.

Are we really thankful for what we have attracted into our life so far?

In reflecting on my journey in deliberate creation with universal laws, I have found that before lived deliberately, I was overlooking all that I have.

What if we could be in gratitude for every-single-thing? Instead of getting caught up with what we don't have and what we are striving to "get". And depressed that we don't already have what we want already.

Feeling anew each day with a sense or curiosity and gratitude towards life may bring a gift of inner peace and new wealth for life. The following assignment is designed to develop your inner peace by shifting perspective by snapping into "the now".

1. Gratitude Journal - Go and buy yourself a new journal specifically for this assignment. Take your time, and make it special to you. Make sure you really like it, and enjoy the experience of giving yourself this gift.

2. Morning List - Each morning before you start your day, open your journal and write 5 things you are love in your life. Just a quick list. Go about the rest of your day.

3. Nightly Reflection - Reflect on your morning list, and add 3 things that happened that day you are noticed, acknowledged and accepted in gratitude. If you have more to share, keep writing. When you are finished, enjoy 10 minutes of silence.

4. Weekly Reflection - Once a week (maybe every Sunday) do not write a thing. Instead, read over your journal from the week. Reflect on your thoughts, and sit in silence for 15 minutes. Right before bed is a great time for this.

Tip: Avoid writing the same things repeatedly. Look for new things you are happy and thankful about, however simple it may be. There is always something to be grateful for.

After 30 days of doing this assignment, you will feel a greater sense of inner peace and gratitude and in turn every part of life will begin to feel better!

Just scroll down below the dialog box and you'll see a tab called "Poll Creation" on the right of the "Options" tab.
