1. Media - some print, radio, major print, TV, Oprah: Have you ever considered budget allotment to advertise in magazines, newspapers, and direct mail? Radio - local, international, and internet: The power of the spoken WORD not only in print but the VOICE we give to send our messages to our target market. The personal development industry did a breakthrough with the movie "THE SECRET." I'm happy to be part of the Philippine version of this phenomenal show!

2. Web visibility - are you connected with online quality links?

3. Online content - what are your free and restricted resources that add value to your niche?

4. Blogging activity - blog, blog, blog, give, give, give content that will include tips/information/techniques!

6. Email blast - your database is ONE OF THE MAJOR aspects that's VERY IMPORTANT! In this industry, He who has the list, makes the rules!

7. Speaking - platform time will give you the edge to become a stage transformer (not performer :)

8. Teleseminar - the power of technology allow us to reach people from all over the world. Use online telephones and internet connection to expand your market reach.

9. Group coaching - leverage, leverage, leverage! When you can teach 30 or more people with the same information, why do one on one?

10. Membership sites/Continuity program - Overdeliver! Design quantum leaps with systems, relationships, and follow through. Everyone grows, make the relationship deepen by continuous support.

11. Product - do you have audios and books to promote/advertise? How about home study courses?

12. Affiliate marketing - the power of JOINT VENTURE! Love this win - win strategy in the industry to serve each other with complementary products/services!

13. Automated systems - we're in the information age, if your system is still manual, upgrade for heaven's sakes!

14. Team - do you have a virtual assistant, webmaster, and a Marketing Director? If not, what are you waiting for?

Last but not the least, since your net income depends on your marketing focus make 50% of your gross sales/fees a budget for marketing and advertising. If I teach you how to get results with a 1000% return, how much would you be willing to invest/spend for your coaching?

After graduating cum laude in university and earning my CPA and MBA fifteen years ago, I became employed by a big five accounting firm. Then only two years later, I accepted a position in a multi-level international company, where I was hired to audit and put policies and procedures into place to streamline the business.
It was a pretty intense job and I was pretty intense about it. But it got me thinking...
Both before and after my move to North America seven years ago, I began reading and learning more about how our thoughts and the way we look at our circumstances can change our circumstances.
I began the study of how to use our minds in a positive and dynamic way to reach our goals.

Starting a New Business Starting a New Business - Congratulations on the first step of deciding to create your own business. First, you have to ascertain if you are going to be selling your products or services to people or to businesses. People purchase products and services for three basic reasons: •To satisfy basic needs •To solve problems •To make themselves feel good. You have to determine which of these three categories your product or service is the solution to. Businesses, unlike individuals, buy products and services for three reasons as well: •To increase revenues •To maintain the status quo •To decrease expenses. Knowing the reasons why people/businesses buy, you should have a picture emerging of who you think your "Target Market" (or ideal customer) is. Once you have zeroed in on your solution, you are ready to create your Marketing Strategy. If you look at any company that has grown rapidly over the past few years, (i.e. WestJet and Starbucks), it should demonstrate to you the importance of Marketing. In simple terms these companies have: •Clearly defined what makes them different; •Who their ideal customer is; •How to reach them; •Why customers should buy from them; •And most importantly why customers should come back again. It is strong Marketing Awareness that singles out the best companies. I can not stress enough how important it is to create a "living" Marketing Plan before you even start. My latest venture involved registering a domain name and redirecting the domain name to my affiliate link. advertising of course, is my biggest problem. I have advertised all over the web. Some free, some paid for. I am seriously thinking of rolling the dice and spending a heap of money on a radio commercial or full page ad in a newspaper or magazine. Anyone think that’s a good Idea??
