One of the easiest, quickest, and most effective ways to ensure change is to surround yourself with people who will pull you into your future. Look for people who reflect who you want to become. They have accomplished your goal or are well on their way.

HERE ARE SOME IDEAS:
* Want to lose weight and get healthy? Make friends with people who eat healthy and work out.

* Want to increase your sales? Hang out with people who are great at sales.

* Want more inner peace? Spend time with peaceful friends.

* Want to be a millionaire? Get yourself into a group of millionaires.

* Would you like to be a kinder, happier person? Find yourself some kind, happy people. Consider joining a charity.

And this is key: celebrate the successes of your friends! Their success shows you that you are getting closer. The more successful your friends are, the more successful you will be too!


WHY THIS WORKS:
* What is around you becomes more real, more normal. You start to think like your comrades.

* You don't have to fight the pull of a negative environment. A community of people who are what you want to become creates an energetic momentum that carries you forward.

* This new reality becomes imprinted in your unconscious. You are moving forward even when you are not consciously "working" at it.

TRY THIS:
Notice where you spend your time.

Think like an Association - Hey Sebastian, Maybe you could try thinking like an Association... I would study the structure or formats used by other Associations. What are they doing to add value for their members? The BBB plays a monitoring role for consumers by gathering data about business' that are behaving badly. And they're pretty successful at it too. Maybe you can offer a 'Platinum Program' that franchisors buy into. Accredited members only. Criteria could be strict: 1. Age (stability): 10+ years 2. Satisfied franchisees: 85% + satisfaction 3. Size (stability again): 250 units 4. Strong profits 5. Great management -Maybe a 'Gold Program' for those Franchisors that aren't quite at that level, but can strive to reach it... -Top 100, 500, 1000 Listing for qualified members... maybe a slap at Entrepreneur.com and their biased top 10 lists... -Maybe act as a monitor like BBB? -Maybe team up with FranSurvey OR do something similar for each member (not sure about Fransurvey's rep, but I like the concept) There's so much discontent within the franchising arena that I think if you were part of the solution, then you could create a win/win with your Association. The only downside is that this power can get abused if there aren't good checks and balances within the association.

Re: Cold Calling - CPM is calculated by a study developed by the Truckads company. As far as the accuracy of this calculation is concerned, I am not 100%. We are planning on commissioning an audit from that TAB or Outdoor Association of Canada as soon as we have the money in our budget. Right now, not having audited figures is a bit of a handicap.
Re: Confused about the Bar coding for fashion wears. - You can refer to the International bar-coding system for Readymade Garments. As far as guidelines on standardization are concerned, you can contact Export Garments Manufacturer's Association, The Barcode Machines Mfrs and explain your specific requirements
Re: Springboard for Female Entrepreneurs - I would suggest looking at articles from the American Psychological Association (APA) regarding motivators and key performance indicators for women across the globe. It is interesting to read the basic science behind everything and how it contirbutes to success or failure. It will make all women feel equipped to deal with any troubles, tribulations, or shortcomings. Search their web site for in depth researched articles.
