In the last article, I talked about shifting your perspective. Let's take a moment to consider the process for doing this. Whatever belief that you now hold, that perception - that understanding, will be the filter through which you interpret any relevant experience or confusing concept. So, how do you shift your perception so that you gain a new understanding? So that you are able to re-interpret the circumstances?
You have to be open and receptive to the flow of energy into you from your Creative Source. You have to be open to everything that crosses through your mind and enters your experience. Allow each piece of information to have importance.
It doesn't mean that you act upon everything that enters your mind or comes into your space. It simply means that you don't dismiss it as trivial or stupid. To intuit the knowledge that flows to you, you must be in a receptive state of mind. Often it is like playing the game of Clue. Seemingly innocuous thoughts will suddenly link with others until you experience a radical change in your perception.
This change in perception is the re-interpretation of that original belief you held. You now see in a new way. You see how your original belief connects to other pieces of knowledge that you never considered before. It opens a new doorway to you, and your world looks different. So you see, you really can't go back to your old ways of thinking when you consciously engage in the process of growth.
Are You Willing To Step Into The Unknown?
Neither you or your business is a stagnant organism. Each is changing. The direction of that change is up to you, however. Are you willing to step into the unknown? This is a huge question because growth implies change, and change implies something different, which implies something previously unknown or not experienced by you. So your willingness to step into the unknown is critical not only to the level of your success but also to its staying power.
My suggestion to you today is to look around you. What is the color of your universe? Is it filled with the gray of uncertainty? Has the red brilliance of your passion faded into a reddish-brown hue of negativity? Perhaps you're beginning to see healing hints of green around the edges of your world. Maybe even golden flashes of wisdom sporadically color your reactions.
Whatever the character of your life, you have an opportunity to create a better experience for yourself by actively engaging in the work of shifting your perspective...shifting your perspective so that your life experiences are not filtered through those conditioned reactions that keep presenting you with the same experiences over and over.
Make conscious choices your filter for every event in your life. Do not judge these events by past experiences. Instead, forge ahead courageously with your newfound understanding as your mentor. You're the artist. Decide on the color you want your universe to be.
All the best on your quest,
Dannye
