Rising from the Ashes
Question for the Coach:
I've just taken over a company that has gone through a difficult time of cost-cutting and layoffs. Everyone seems to be still confused and shaken by this episode. I recognize that I need to do something to reinvigorate and refocus the company. What do I need at this point?
The Coach says..
At this point it appears that your company needs a common direction, which should be clear and specific for everyone. It is time to put aside any individualism and to channel all efforts towards a common long-term direction and goal. Doing this well and communicating it effectively have a powerful effect of showing people where the company is heading (and not heading).
Powerful Questions
- Who are you?
- What is your purpose?
- Where do you want to go from here?
- Who are your customers?
- What do you do for them?
