How To Blog - 5 Simple Steps on How To Blog
I wanted to shoot you this quick article about an article I read on WikiHow, on how to blog because this is a tool that has helped me create better results in not only my personal life, but also my personal online business and, if you don't know how to blog or what a blog is, it's a web-based journal in which people can publish your thoughts, ideas, and opinions about anything, on the internet.
It is everyone's home on the world-wide-web and anyone can learn how to blog and start one relatively quickly. It's straight-forward and, in most cases, free. Here are 5 simple steps to setting up your blog effectively.
1. Find a decent blogging service that appeals to you. I personally use WordPress.com because it's free, easy, and a very effect blogging service. WordPress also has pre-made templates and push-button publishing that doesn't require much technical know-how, so it's a great tool to use if your a professional or brand new.
2. Once you sign up, you'll have a gallery of ready-made templates to choose from. With these, you can pick a color scheme and layout for your blog. Most sites come with a set of predefined layouts and schemes that you can choose from. Select one and personalize it. Then add your name, interests, images and what ever else you want to customize it with.
If you want to get a more unique template, there are a lot of great graphic designers you can find if you don't want to do it yourself.
3. After you've set up your blog, write a few posts to test it out, and make any adjustments to the layout or style that you see fit.
It will seem tough to figure out what to write at first, but once you get into a routine of daily blogging, you will start to find it addictive. Write about your day, your thoughts, events, ideas, fears, pleasures, the news, current affairs, art, or anything you are interested in!
4. Visit other blogs to build a blogging circle. When you leave comments, add your blogging address so they can visit you too. Anytime you come across a blog or post that you like or interests you, leave your feedback. Even if you disagree with something that's OK, just keep your comments respectful and constructive because that is a great way to spread positive value throughout the entire community.
5. Publish your blog by sending the URL to your friends or publish the URL on your website. What I also recommend that is really powerful is use Pingomatic.com to ping the search engines that you have new content on your blog. This is something that if you do after every post will bring a lot of free traffic to your blog.
So I hope this information has helped you in some way, shape, or form and I need your help. Leave me a quick comment below about this information and what you think about it because it really helps me create better content for all my readers and viewers like you, thanks in advance!
