5 Basic Steps to Creating an Article

Written by: Pablo Gonzalez

Article Overview: Article writing is not as difficult a task as many make it out to seem. The main objective is to have an actual point to get across to your audience. Once you’ve manifested an idea, a story, educational information, or just have a motivational point you feel important to share with others, then the hard part for you is over. All you have to do now is put it into an article format that others will find interesting and share your article to as many places or websites you possibly can.

5 Basic Steps to Creating an Article

Article writing is not as difficult a task as many make it out to seem.

Many authors have different ways or strategies they use to creating an article. The following 5 steps are the same exact strategies I use to creating articles, which have allowed me to be titled as an expert author in some online article publication websites. These strategies are:

  1. Once you have established the idea that you are going to write about, break that particular subject up into 3-5 main point that you would like to get across.
  2. Now that you have your 3-5 points, write one sentence on each one. These are going to be your beginning sentences to your article body paragraphs.
  3. Next, begin to expand on each one of those points that you want to get across by writing at least 4-5 sentences on each.
  4. With that done, you’ve now created the “Body” of your article. All you have to do now is create an introduction and an ending paragraph to your article and you should have at minimum 1 full page of writing.
  5. Last but not least is your title. There’s a good reason I left the title for last. Once you have your article completed, you can now see more clearly on what the exact topic of this article is. All you have to do now is create a title that will attract readers to learn more about the subject.
These 5 techniques are the same exact ones I use to create my articles. And for someone like myself that never really had an interest reading, let alone writing, I have been able to create 30 articles in a 2 month time frame. Keep in mind, I knew nothing about writing and much less had the confidence enough to begin creating articles.

Beginning to create articles has been an incredible experience for me. I strongly feel that if you are looking to use article writing for business use, especially for online marketing, the key is to get the proper training. That is what I owe my results to, receiving an incredible support and training by my colleagues and business associates.

Re: Traffic! How do you get it? Re: Traffic! How do you get it? - It first starts with content. Creating highly valuable and helpful content that people will want to link to. This solves part of your second step, which is backlink building. Building backlinks is essential if you want traffic. Article marketing, blog commenting, social bookmarking, social networking, web 2.0, link-baiting, etc. are just some ways to build quality backlinks. And don't forget about keyword research. This should be done first and foremost to get the most benefit out of your content and backlink building strategies.
Re: What newsletter program to use? Re: What newsletter program to use? - Just did a quick review of GetResponse and v6.0 is impressive! but you should go with the Premium package which is $10 more than the Basic package per month. Does anyone know if they require Opt-in confirmation on imported contacts? I noticed they also include video emails and twitter integration. Nice product offering.

Re: Social Media & Digg, Google, MySpace, and YouTube Re: Social Media & Digg, Google, MySpace, and YouTube - Hi Kathy, What I meant about it being worth it was in the sense that I described. Creating multiple accounts for various sites and posting and ranking your own stuff. It's very time consuming to say the least. I'm just wondering if there's anyone out there that has done this and thinks it's beneficial.
