Let's be honest, everyone's looking for this grand secret to finding more leads and prospects for their network marketing business. The phrase that I constantly hear is "There's got to be an easier way to find more leads or make more sales than what I'm currently doing." Well, there is! These secrets, (secret only to those not familiar with attraction marketing), are what is going to determine your outcome in network marketing. Those that choose to go their own route and not follow these very simple strategies will notice exactly how much more effort has to be made in order to get the same results.
These techniques were taught to me by a great leader in our industry and are strongly enforced by many network marketing top earners. The "secret" strategies are:
1. Market a product that gives your prospect a strong desire to purchase. - In network marketing, the key is to research the product or service that you have to offer and verify if it is something that people desire to have or are currently using. Trying to market your product or service to prospects that have no interest in it or find it to be a luxury and not a necessity will be the cause of prospecting time wasted. At this point, you're only depending on luck to make a sale or attain new members to your business opportunity.
2. Become the solution provider in your targeted niche. - In your specific targeted audience, become the person that can provide these prospects a true and honest solution to their needs. If you are seen as the solution provider to their problems, you will automatically become the authority figure in your specific niche. This will not only reduce your marketing efforts dramatically, but explode your network marketing business with new and qualified prospects.
3. Market ONLY to those in your target market. - This is a very crucial step. Do not waste time trying to market your product or service to everyone. Find a target market in your specific niche and market ONLY to these prospects. For example, if you're marketing a health product, target individuals that are health conscious and are looking for new products to try. Doing so gives you a laser focus on your targeted market and your efforts will not be in vain.
We all deem to know everything there is to know about correctly marketing our business, but truth be told, with the constant changes in network marketing, we will always be students in our industry. Even those that have been in the network marketing industry for years spend thousands on new courses and seminars in order to stay above the competition and provide the best value to those seeking the same knowledge. Only a strong commitment to further educating yourself will lead you to the results you desire.
