"Time Management Tips For Serious Entrepreneurs"

Being able to manage your time in order to become 100% productive is critical for your success as an entrepreneur. We all tend to be extremely busy and sometimes even have excuses for not being able to complete a certain goal or objective. Time management is the only way to take control of your time and increase your productivity level exponentially. In this article, I will be recommending 6 steps to time management that will show you results and even free up some time while still being able to feel that sense of accomplishment. These steps are strictly my personal opinion and steps that I have taken that have given me results. Your result may vary depending on how you would implement each step.

My personal steps to mastering time management are:

1. Organize your to-do list the night before. Getting into the habit of either writing out your list or opening up a simple program on your computer such as Notepad and typing out your to-do list the night before, frees up the time it takes to actually think of what exactly has to get done that very same day. A lesson I've learned from a top earner in my industry that has mastered the time management techniques and has increased his income to well over 7 digits.

2. Check your e-mails once a day. One of the biggest time consuming things we do on a daily basis is checking e-mail. This is as much a waste of time as watching TV.Reading your e-mails one by one is very time consuming and is energy wasted that can be used to increase your productivity and/or your income.

3. DO NOT MULTI-TASK! Several books I have personally read address the importance of not multi-tasking. By not focusing on what is important and physically, or even mentally, multi-tasking, you're setting yourself up for disaster. It is crucial to maintain focus on what is your goal, whether it is something you are trying to accomplish that very moment or a long term goal.

4. Shut off all distractions. (ex: TV, e-mail, social websites) Once you're in your personal area that's going to be used by you to complete your to-do list, remove all distractions. A TV on in the background, social media websites that constantly update themselves with new info, and having open programs on your computer, such as e-mail accounts, are just a few of the examples that can cause you to become distracted and not accomplish your goal.

5. Make a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet with what you will do and when. This is a great technique that I also learned from a top income producing leader in my industry. By creating a spreadsheet of your day-to-day activities, broken down to half hour increments, gives you a better idea of your daily time schedule and also allows you to realize that you do have time to dedicate to achieving your goals. This is something that I do daily.

6. For long periods of work, take 10 minute breaks at 50 minute intervals. We, as humans, can only focus on one specific activity for short time spans. If you're sitting at a desk, staring at a computer screen for hours, you probably notice that your eyes just can't focus as good as when you first sat down in front of the screen. Taking 10 minute breaks and going out for some fresh air, grabbing a glass of water, and returning to work after your break, you'll notice a difference in focus and actually be able to accomplish what you initially intended to do.

I really do hope that this information was useful to you and allow you to manage your time better, actually work less time and get more done. With that said, please leave me your comments and if you've found this information informative, pass it forward and help someone else with their time management problem.

Best Regards,

Pablo Gonzalez
