Traits You Must Have To Increase Your Online Presence In Order To Get Passed Your Insecurities

In network marketing, having an exceptional online presence throughout your marketing efforts will determine the outcome of your results. Network marketing, as many of you know, has become an industry with the largest amount of growth, considering our current economic state. With that in mind, it's obvious that the competition is also steadily increasing, decreasing your chances of success, unless you know exactly how to make your online presence attract the attention of your audience. Doing so will not only increase your chances of success, but also decrease your marketing efforts, transforming you from the hunter to the hunted.     With our efforts to become great leaders in our industry and life in general, there are three important traits one must exude in order to have an online presence that is considered that of a true leader. Those traits are:

1. Authenticity - (definition: The truthfulness of origins, attributions, commitments, sincerity, devotion, and intentions.) This hold true in network marketing and in any business. Having the ability to be yourself and disregard what opinions others will have of you will greatly distinguish you from the masses. Your online presence will steadily increase as long as your intentions are positive and are created in order to provide value and assistance to others.

2. Uniqueness [also known as Originality] - (definition: The aspect of created or invented works by as being new or novel, and thus can be distinguished from reproductions, clones, forgeries or derivative works.) While establishing your online presence, keep the information you provide, whether through articles, press releases, videos, etc. unique to you. The only information you should be distributing online should only be information that is your personal fact or opinion and not that of others. Copying the hard work of other entrepreneurs will only lead to the discovery of your inactivity to produce the work yourself and the annihilation of your reputation.

3. Confidence - (definition: A state of being certain either that a hypothesis or prediction is correct or that a chosen course of action is the best or most effective.) If you are determined to reaching the level of success you're after in your efforts, confidence in yourself and your attempts is a must. No one can be harder on you that YOU! Begin to attribute those values of confidence and you will begin to see a remarkable change in your efforts in reaching your goals.

Your goal in increasing your online presence is to not only grab the attention of your audience, but to captivate their attention, allowing you to market your business or product to them. If you are directly marketing your products and/or business opportunity directly to an audience that has no clue as to whom you are and what you can personally do for them, you are wasting your time and efforts. That same energy can be put towards correctly increasing your online presence and marketing yourself instead of your business.

Accept these traits as your own, not only through your marketing efforts online, but throughout your daily living, and begin to see the positive effect these traits have on you. Your mind is extremely powerful and has the capability to reach great accomplishments. If only we exercised these traits on a daily basis, the possibilities are endless.

Wishing You a Life of Abundance,

Pablo Gonzalez

Re: Great at one thing OR good at everything? - [quote="babyjoy214":tb4042ja]I heard this from my dad "Jack of All Traits, Master of None"[/quote:tb4042ja] Personally, I see myself as being a good at a lot of my passions, but not "great" enough to earn a living from any of them. I feel that our society favors those who specialize and pigeon hole themselves into one thing. In fact, I don't think you can even get a high paying job without spending 6 years studying that one subject in college + post grad studies.

Re: Kevin's Case Study #11 - A New Forum Category? - [quote:31qpen1j]This is just my opinion, but I consider the prospective categories, Online Marketing, Internet Marketing and Online Promotion, as being pretty much one and the same - just different words that different people use.[/quote:31qpen1j] I completely agree! Those are all just "internet marketing" as far as I am concerned. And I normally would have voted for internet marketing, however I chose social media marketing simply because there are more than enough IM forums out there already.
Borrowing money is a pain Borrowing money is a pain - When I first began planning out my business idea, I spoke with my financial advisor at TD Canada Trust and she was more than willing to offer me a loan/line of credit provided that I: 1.) Used my personal assets as collateral 2.) Passed a credit check (scored "700" and up I think) 3.) Provided a business plan with financial statement forecasts for the first 3 years of operation (i.e. balance sheets, cash flow statements, and income statements) But since interest rates were like prime plus 2% (about 7-7.5% at the time)... I decided to just use my own money and avoid the paperwork and extra costs. And in my particular case, I only needed a few thousand dollars, so it wasn't a big deal. It's not like I was going to try and borrow a couple hundred thousand dollars for a new restaurant.
