Measuring Customer Satisfaction - Kampyle Review

My Entrepreneur Tool of the Week this week is Kampyle. Kampyle is a powerful solution to help you collect, analyze and manage your website visitors' feedback. Kampyle lets you leverage valuable customer feedback to: Increase conversion rates, Reduce customer attrition, and Improve customer satisfaction and loyalty. I love Kampyle so much that I've built my business around it - we determine what features we need to develop based on Kampyle feedback and my staff's performance is partly measured on how what their scores are from Kampyle customer responses. Some of the benefits I'll touch on in this article include: Understanding what your customers think of your website, Free - what else do you need to know?, It's so easy anyone can do it, and Segmenting your customer feedback.

Understand What Customers Think Of Your Website

Website owners want to listen to their customers, but this is easier said than done. Customers don't always have the time to say exactly what they think, and when they do, they are not sure that they should. Moreover, online business owners don't always have the availability, or the possibility to ask for customer feedback, then listen and react to every comment that their customers report. Kampyle helps website owners to overcome these difficulties, and maximize their business potential by giving them the necessary tools to collect, analyze, and respond to online customer feedback.

Kampyle for Websites allows you to place branded, fully customizable feedback forms on your website, which customers can easily access by clicking on a non-intrusive button placed on the website. Once customers submit feedback, they have the option to leave their email addresses for future follow up. It is at this stage that over 60% of users choose to submit their authentic emails!

I'm currently getting almost 400 new customer responses every month from the Kampyle system. They tell me what they like, what they want improved, and where any bugs are - all without me having to prompt them. It's the best method of collecting valuable user opinion data that I've ever seen!

Free - What Else Do You Need To Know?

To get started with Kampyle the pricing fits every entrepreneurial budget - it's free. With the free packages you can create your custom feedback form, receive 50 feedback items, and have access to valuable reporting tools to review the data. If you find that you love the service (like I did), you have the option to purchase other packages which include more feedback forms, the ability to receive more feedback items, and useful features like integration with Google Analytics and a XML feed of your data.

I find the XML feed so useful that we've developed a script that pull the data and sorts it every day. Myself and my staff look at the results on a daily basis to hear what our website visitors and customers are saying and learn how we can make our business more valuable to them. Before Kampyle I was getting two or three emails a week with suggestions. Now we get almost 400 per month! I can't believe the difference it's made for my business and it's completely free to test out.

So Easy Anyone Can Do It

Kampyle has done a fantastic job in making their system easy to understand and to install. You don't need to hire an expensive computer programmer to implement the system for you. All you have to do is pick the fields you want to add, choose the graphic that looks the best for your site and then copy and paste the code Kampyle gives you into your template.

Kampyle's powerful customer feedback forms can be deployed on any website, on any page. You can have the web's most advanced website feedback form up and running within moments. I was impressed at how easy it was to set up compared to some of the other packages we were looking at. Techno geeks and technophobes alike will be able to get Kampyle up and running within minutes.

Segment Your Customer Feedback

I've also found Kampyle extremely useful to help me solicit more responses from my customers and segment that information out from my other website visitors. My customers have their own account pages where we've put the Kampyle script and any feedback left on those pages is flagged and emailed to me so I can respond quickly and directly to them.

If you have a special section of your site for your customers only you can implement the same strategy to solicit their thoughts and opinions. You can also use the Kampyle tool to get feedback on important processes like the shopping cart and the checkout section of an ecommerce site. Kampyle's Shopping Cart Abandonment website feedback tool works by identifying customers who follow a specific behavioral path in a website, in this case - leaving the shopping cart. Once identified, potential shoppers are prompted with Kampyle's advanced, customizable feedback form, to leave feedback and describe why they decided to not to go through with the purchase. If your customers are frustrated, confused, or over-the-moon happy you'll quickly find out!

Kampyle has also released a version for software products which prompts users for feedback when they have aborted the installation process before completion or have chosen to uninstall the software completely. I used to run two different software companies and wished this tool was around then to help me better understand and provide improved service to my customers!

Implementing Kampyle has been one of the biggest changes I've made at my company and we've built our office culture around receiving and responding to Kampyle feedback. It's easy to set up and free to get started. It's one of those no-brainer decisions that you'll wish you had made months ago! You can register for a free account by clicking here.

Re: Some attractive terms in advertisement Re: Some attractive terms in advertisement - [quote="lane_hug":sqdmyojl]Some terms can make the advertisement look more attractive, like unlimited, free, life time guarantee, and more. These should be definitely incorporated to ensure fast sales.[/quote:sqdmyojl] You've got to be careful with such terms, though. Take as an example the poor Korean dry cleaners who had the words "Satisfaction guaranteed" on their storefront window. They lost (supposedly) a pair of slacks from some loony judge, who proceeded to sue them for MILLIONS of dollars (over a $100 pair of slacks) because they did not provide him with satisfaction. [If the sign had said "Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back" perhaps none of it would have happened...] These days more and more people are apt to sue at the drop of a hat, and if you promise them something even though common sense says you wouldn't have meant what you said (for example Pepsi got in trouble because their commercial for Pepsi points, at the time the movie True Lies came out, featured a Harrier jet as in the movie. A few looney businessmen bought up all the points the could to get that jet, although they were told it had just been dramatic license, and ended up suing Pepsi for misleading advertising. The suit was dismissed, but the fact that the guy was able to find lawyers who'd even take the case on is scary. To cut a long story short, be careful what terms you use, and think to yourself what you'd have to do if people took them literally.
Re: Significance of Review Sites Re: Significance of Review Sites - Exactly! Review sites are very helpful for providing better understanding to a product or service.
Re: Paypal process $315 million in payments per day. Re: Paypal process $315 million in payments per day. - I agree with you David, their Customer relations suck. This mean other payment systems like 2CO and WORLDPAY should work on their customers relations to take more slice of the market.
Re: Welcome to Entrepreneur University! Re: Welcome to Entrepreneur University! - Hi Evan and GT, Can you clarify? If you join the "Preferred Customer" you are not entitled to commission? Why? This is the the $79.95/month account, I don't understand why you are not getting commission from it?
