It's a Done Deal - Why your mindset is so critical to your sucess

We hear so much about mindset today that the topic runs the risk of becoming stale. That, my friends, is a very big risk. Your mindset is one of the most important ingredients of every successful venture. If you are going to have a successful career or build a successful business, you cannot afford to neglect your mindset. If you can maintain the right mindset - the mindset to succeed and achieve - every action you take will lead to the desired outcome. Unfortunately, the opposite is also true.

Your mind is continuously generating energy that drives your thoughts and actions. Every great achievement is first conceived in the mind. These ideas are, in fact, forces that can be channeled to initiate the process of realization. When you direct these forces, your mind will create a subconscious blueprint for turning these thoughts into realities by causing the proper action. Your mindset is the process of organizing and channelling these forces.

The fact that you can achieve anything your mind can conceive is extraordinarily powerful. However, it has an equally powerful dark side. It also means that the only boundaries that can actually prevent you from reaching your goals are the ones that you create for and place around yourself.

All too often, that is what we spend our time doing. We naturally live in a comfortable zone where we know what to expect, even if we don't really like it. The pain of the known is less of a threat than the fear of the unknown. So we put a fence around our belief in ourselves that blocks the road to that we would like to achieve. We may dream of becoming or doing something spectacular, but never do because we do not cultivate the proper mindset. Our inability to truly believe that we can succeed is the only hurdle high enough to prevent us from being successful.

If, however, you accept the fact that you are the only person responsible for your success, and that there is no external force that your mind cannot overcome, then there is no legitimate reason to believe that you won't achieve your goals. Your mind will process information without your conscious participation in order to create a roadmap for action which, if followed, will generate the result it expects. And it will subconsciously cause you to follow follow this roadmap until the outcome is reached.

That is the power of your mindset. You will create the future you believe in and expect. Remember, IT IS A DONE DEAL. Make your choice with care.

Re: How To Stay Motivated In Your Business Re: How To Stay Motivated In Your Business - Whether you think you can or think you can't, you are correct. Having the right mindset is critical to being a successful entrepreneur. Kicking the dead horse one more time:::: Write down your goals. And then READ THEM!! I find that most people don't write them down, and of those that do, hardly any read them later. When you are most motivated is usually in the beginning of your project, so write down your goals then. When feeling down, go back and read those goals, this will get you motivated and make you remember why you started your venture. .
Re: Does birth order influence the desire to start a business? Re: Does birth order influence the desire to start a business? - Hi Kevin, I can't really say if birth order has anything to do with having more of a business mindset and taking risks. As for my situation, I have a sister who is three years older than me. I've always wanted to start my own business and work from home ever since I was in high school. My sister on the other hand got a four year degree and now works as a graphic design artist. I've mentioned to her on several occasions about doing freelance work and starting a side business. She just shrugs it off and says she doesn't have time to do something like that. It's a pitty because I know she would excel if she had the type of mindset that I have. She does great at her job and would do great as a freelancer.
Re: Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? Re: Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? - Like some of the others have mentioned....I think your success in an MLM is possible if you choose the right one and really believe in the products. I would never approach a friend or family member to just join you in your quest like many of the MLM gurus preach right at the very beginning. Instead, like with any type of business, you should worry about building a relationship with the people you think would be really good at it and then let them see your sucess without throwing it in their faces. I've had this done to me when a person was trying to bring me in two days after they joined and I waited to see how they did in it. Unfortunately, they failed like the other 97%. I think it takes just the right person to survive and thrive in MLM. If you think that's you, go for it. Many people have created fortunes using this method. And many people have lost the trust of all of their friends and family members that they asked to join and then never did anything with it themselves.
Hiring the best people for the job Hiring the best people for the job - One of the hardest things I had to do as an entrepreneur was to give up control over a project to someone else. Currently, I am having a professional design my website for me. Sure I can do it myself, or hire someone to do it how I tell them, but what would I learn? Handling the technological side of the business is not my strong suit, so i had to find someone who knew more about the subject than I did and also has done what I want to do before. It has been a learning experience, and the great thing about it is it frees me up to do what I do best in my business, and letting someone else do what they do best. I have been brought up with the mindset that [i:vazquuoz]if you want it done right you [/i:vazquuoz][i:vazquuoz]have to do it yourself[/i:vazquuoz]. I am slowly but surely weening myself away from that mindset and learning how to delegate more effectively. Now I am extremely selective on who I hire, and my goal is to surround myself around people who are smarter than myself in their area of expertise.
Who inspired you to start? Who inspired you to start? - When I was a teenager I read "The Art of the Deal" by Donald Trump while on a road trip to New York City. It helped inspire me to want to start my own business and is also one of the reasons why I have created so many famous entrepreneur profiles. I believe that by modeling the success of other entrepreneurs you too can become successful. Who was it that inspired you to start your business?
