Be Your Own Boss as a Successful Internet Entrepreneur

There are many challenges involved when starting your own home-based business but the numerous benefits far outweigh any obstacles in your path. The ability to spend more time with your family and take a more proactive roll in raising your children is at the top of the list. Other advantages are included in the sections below: Freedom, Financial and Fun! Freedom

With no bosses to follow, no corporate culture to restrict your creativity and no rigid work schedule, your time is yours to do with as you please. Hone your multi-tasking skills, set short-term and long-term goals, and plan a work schedule that fits your needs. The wasted hours spent commuting will be a thing of the past.

Financial

Your savings will be endless: no more transportation costs, eliminate pricey business attire and save on restaurant lunches. Overhead expenses for your start up will be minimal which will allow you to put all your capital and profits directly back into your business enabling it to grow at an exponential rate. Using your home as a place of work offers a number of tax advantages as well. You may be able to deduct a part of the operating and depreciation expenses on your house. For example, a percentage of your rent or mortgage payment, property tax, insurance and utilities, along with expenses for household maintenance, repairs or improvements can be deductible. Your earning potential will be directly proportional to your performance. No more waiting for your boss to give a raise. The harder you work, the greater the level of success you will achieve.

Fun

Running a home-based business can reduce the stress of juggling the demands of your work life with those of your private life. There are no office politics or crucial deadlines to be met. You will be able to educate yourself on many different aspects of your business, which will allow for personal and professional growth. You will never be bored again! Enjoy the freedom and flexibility this will allow you when you schedule your day.

Have breakfast with your family every morning, sit down for dinner together each night, and share with them the daily experiences in life that help shape us all.

Re: Who inspired you to start? Re: Who inspired you to start? - Hi Evan, I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. So I took over to the Internet as my primary business. Regards,
