Network Marketing Success - The Reasons Why, Part 1

You are most probably reading this article because you are an online marketer, and one of your major desires is to become financially free. Is it a correct assumption? If this is the case, please continue reading.

When reading some of my other articles, you will notice that I place a great deal of emphasis on the rationale for doing things, i.e. 'why'. If you are not achieving quite the desired network marketing success you have in mind, I'd recommend that you re-evaluate your mind-set and get your proverbial house in order.

Remember that every game involves a 'mind-set' and a 'skill-set'. Both are important. However in marketing, as in basketball, tennis, rugby, golf and most other ball games, it is the mind-set that separates the pro's from the amateurs.

For each of our actions, whether making a cup of tea or creating a seven-figure income, there is a motivation, or a 'motive', for action. Upon closer inspection we can actually distinguish between two sub-classes of motivators, viz. those moving us away from pain or discomfort, and those moving us towards reward or pleasure. My personal belief is that we should not dwell too much on the negative issues, as these could act as inappropriate instructions to our subconscious minds if we overemphasize them. However, it is actually a good idea to experience some revulsion and say "This is IT! No more of this!" So in the remainder of this article we will focus briefly on the negatives.

If you are unsure of what these are, let me give you some examples:

- Do you have no, or not adequate, free time?

- Can you afford to retire right now?

- Is the Internal Revenue Service bugging you?

- Are you being pursued by the 30-day paycheck monster?

- Is there a possibility you could be made redundant at work?

- Do you have to forfeit time with family members and friends due to work reasons, or an inability to travel?

- Are you sick and tired of commuting?

- Are you sitting in a car for several hours every day?

- Do you detest having to answer to a boss?

- Are you sick and tired of working for a few dollars an hour?

- Is it years since you could last afford a decent vacation?

- Do you have insufficient funds for pursuing expensive hobbies?

- Are you disgusted with your tacky wardrobe?

- When last could you afford a trip to the other side of the planet??

- Can you afford expensive procedures such as orthodontic work on your kids' teeth?

- Can you afford the cost of keeping your body in tip-top shape?

- If you, or your spouse, are over 50 - can you afford some much needed makeovers?

I could go on and on, but I think you've got the idea by now. In short: if you cannot do what you want, when you want, where you want, with whom you want to, for as long as you want to, then you have reason to feel despondent. Society has played a very nasty trick on you by making you believe this is inevitable. That's a big lie!

Online marketing is one solution to this dilemma, if you do it right. But if you really want network marketing success in a very short time, you must go for it flat-out, which means your motivators (your 'why') must be on steroids. Moving away from stuff you hate is one side of the coin. In my next article I will discuss the positive motivators. See you there!

Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? Why do people hate Network Marketing / MLM? - I've been looking at a number of different opportunities and end up meeting a lot of Network Marketing / Multi-Level Marketing people. Some of the offers look interesting but everyone I talk to about it says to avoid these guys like the plague - what's the deal? Why do people hate network marketers and MLM people so much? Is it not legit?
Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. Re: MLM Marketing, youtube, and buzzirk mobile. - I have experience with MLM too. My initial reaction to the business was "snake-oil salesman" but once I got to understand the "overall business model" I am now an advocate to it. MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) is also known as Network Marketing. I realized an MLM business is no different than any other business. One needs to focus on both words "Network" and "Marketing" and give both equal respect. Some people focus heavily on the Networking part but forget "Marketing". I've started to use Building on a Budget and Magnetic Sponsoring concepts in my NM business and have found that people don't get involved so much because of the product but more because of what you bring to the table as far as marketing systems and support. I have both products listed in my signature. you don't have to buy it as the link to the free videos itself provides you a good understanding of what is required to position yourself as my above paragraph. If you do plan on purchasing it I can tell you that the measly $40 will open your eyes BUT your upline will not be too happy (atleast in the short term) beacuse the system is not duplicateable. I wrote this post as a polar post to Bulmer's reply as I have exhausted the friends and family networking and realized i never really focused on marketing. My leads now are more qualified and open to hearing about my opportunity than the other way around. my 2 cents if you plan on growing an MLM or Networking Marketing business.

10 best franchises to get involved 10 best franchises to get involved - My advice is: 1) Go to the library and start reading business books (accounting, finance, etc.) 2) Go to your local community college and enroll in night classes 3) Join the local Chamber of Commerce 4) Network / Network / Network -- through the above sources. Once you have spent two years doing the above, then look for a 55 - 60 year old business person that is looking to reduce their time in the business. Then you can work on a sweetheart financing option.
Re: answer this question Re: answer this question - This is a good topic. I haven't done anything, yet, to seriously damage my business. I did shift gear though. It was the best decision I ever made. For me, affiliate marketing was not working. Making the switch to Network Marketing made all the difference.
