Do You Have a System?

Guest post by: Jordan Crouter

Article Overview: Regardless of the business or company your are plugging into to, you want to make sure there is a successful "system" already in place that you will be taught to follow. If there is no system in place, you will waste valuable time developing one and then working out the kinks, and this is time you don't have when starting a new endeavor. Finding the right company or business is the first step, but then making sure that the system that is in place is a proven, successful tool that you will be able to adopt in a short time once in the business.

Do You Have a System?

You cannot overstate enough the fact that in the business of network marketing your success is going to depend in a large part on the SYSTEM that you are plugging into. No matter if your product or service is based on selling face-to-face, or in home-based meetings, or larger seminars, or on the Internet. You have to make certain that your choice for your business opportunity is taking into consideration the system you are going to be part of and begin to teach others.

I believe you can break the word "System" down into a couple of keys areas that will help you analyze the key factors as you take a look at your new or existing system to see if it meets some of these criteria. The first key you can remember is "SYS" or SAVE YOUR SELF. Why not find a simple, easily duplicated system that will allow you the luxury of saving yourself some precious commodities?

What are some of the things that are sometimes hard to accumulate, but so easy to waste away or be the target of other's activities. I think we can add to the SYS the T that stands for TIME. Since we all have the same 24 hours in a day, time is something that can be an amazing gift to some and an almost unimaginable gain to others. The proper use of time maximizes and leverages our abilities to get the very most out of those 24 hours. Maybe you personally don't have this problem but have you noticed how fast you can waste away hours by just sitting in front of a TV, and before you know it, the afternoon is gone. I know of a great leader in the network marketing profession who says TV is nothing but an electronic income reducer.

Now expand that idea of using 24 hours a day and think about the beauty of the network marketing profession where you are leveraging your time by building teams under you who have the same goals and aspirations. I spoke in a previous article about building a global business and now think about how great it would be to have people working in your business 24 hours a day, around the world. That is truly leveraging the power of the system.

The next factor to consider is E for ENERGY. One man or woman is only one entity and no matter how much activity you can produce you are only one person. You might be able to sustain it for a while but eventually you are going to run down. You are not the Energizer Bunny! So, there are good reasons to consider the concepts of using your teams to not only extend your energy but teams actually generate energy and create a synergy of thoughts, ideas and results.

Lastly, is M for Money. It's well known by now that there are two sides to the cash flow quadrant and we can either trade time for money or make money work for us. But, how we make the move to the right side of the quadrant and have money work for us is the big decision. You can pay millions to get a franchise or, as in network marketing, you can invest a small amount and find unbelievable returns. That's the way your leverage your money and put it to work for you within the system.

So, as you can see the SYSTEM (Save Your Self Time Energy and Money) is the key to consider as you put everything into your business endeavors.

Re: What or Who Sparks Your Business Interest Re: What or Who Sparks Your Business Interest - I guess the business bug has always been with me as I was brought up in a public house. My parents were publicans, so were my grandparents, and later so were my brother and myself. I've also managed a café, co-owned a snack bar and also a second hand store, which is where I discovered computers and the Internet as someone came in one day and asked "can you sell this for me" referring to his computer. After that I learned how to build one from scratch, install the Operating System and then went online to find out how everything worked and how to maintain computers properly. All the time I was doing this there was a thought at the back of my mind telling me that I could make a living on the Internet and eventually I made up my mind to do just that.
Re: What is the Best Franchise? Re: What is the Best Franchise? - As a franchise owner the things that I look for in a prospective franchise is: 1- A proven track record. Too many franchises try and branch out long before they have perfected their product, don't become a guinea pig for them to figure out what works and what doesnt. 2- Support. A good franchise should have great communication with it's franchisee's and be available to meet it's franchisees needs. Youre only contact with them shouldn't be when you have a problem. Good franchises involves it's franchisees in building it's business. 3- A Great System. McDonald's doesn't exactly make a good hamburger but they have an excellent system of conducting business. The real value in a franchise is the system, not necessarily the product. There are many other factors in deciding on a franchise but many of those are personal to you and your situation. The best thing to do is to conduct as much research as possible and speak with every current franchisee you can and get a feel for the franchise. garyshouldis.com
Business Owners: Attention Please Business Owners: Attention Please - Hi Guys I’m about to release what I call our Email Marketing System. This application will be progressively advanced in the coming months as we continually test the system. The application right now will allow companies to send mass (but personalized) emails to all their customers. You'll be able to send emails that say "Hi John…," "Hi Susan…,” etc. Once the email is sent, you will be able to track it (i.e. how many people open it, go to your website, forward it to a friend, subscribe to your send out, unsubscribe, etc). I am looking for a few business owners who are willing to test the system out, using it for their email marketing, and provide feedback from it. I want to test it first before opening it to the public. If you have never had an email campaign I can help you set it up. There will not be any charges while we are testing the system and I might keep it like that depending on usage vs. resources. If anyone is interested can you please PM me with your details. If you have any questions feel free to message me as well. And for those worried about privacy issues, I won’t have access nor be able to see the emails you have stored. Thanks guys!
