Don't Over Think It!

You might be sort of like me in that you just love finding all of the ways you can become a better professional in the exciting and challenging world of network marketing. In fact, it doesn't take long for you to get on email distribution lists, free downloaded eBooks, and a ton of different distractions to what you really need to do.

Don't get me wrong. I agree that sometimes you sure don't need to try and reinvent the wheel so to speak. There are plenty of people out there who have figured out the tools, the techniques and the strategies that it takes to succeed. So, don't go deleting your RSS feeds yet.

No, what I want to remind you of today is that there are some fundamental reasons that you personally made or are considering making a decision to become part of the growing number of entrepreneurs in our society. I want you to reflect on that initial feeling and excitement you felt when you had that epiphany that changed your life.

If only we could put that in a bottle so we could just open it and access it when we might start feeling like we can't do it, or that we will never be successful, all feelings that everyone can get once in a while. Sometimes these feelings come because we have just plain thought about it too much. Sometimes, and it depends upon the person, you are better off if you quit over thinking the whole process and just share your story with folks. You know the saying, "paralysis by analysis." You can just plain over think it.

Just think back to how you were excited, tell your story and forget all the facts for now and feel the joy of sharing that brought you into your business in the first place.

Re: Who hates cold calling? Re: Who hates cold calling? - I saw this and had to chime in. I HATE COLD CALLS. lol its terrible and a wast of my time. Something i have done is gotten online and found all the networking event happening in my area for the next 2 months and i try and go to about 3 a week. Even just for an hour. Dont bring any business cards. Just meet new people ask them alot about what they do, not too much about what i do and follow up the next day or 2. Has worked well
