The Time for Action is Every Day

"Do what you can, with what you have, where you are." - Theodore Roosevelt We always seem to be waiting for the right set of circumstances to exist in order to pursue a dream. The circumstances are perfect right now, where we are. Doing what you can every day, with what you have, in the conditions of that day is pursuing your dream. When you get a spark of inspiration, follow it through. Imagine the success of it. Keep an inspiration notebook and continually work the list following each inspiration in the direction it guides you. Your dream will begin to take shape.

Other people's pursuits of a similar dream will never be the same as yours, because you are unique. There is no other being like you in the Universe. Replace the voice in your head that urges you to compare yourself with others with the thought, "I am what I am." Keep the focus on yourself and what you can do right now. Each day take some action that will propel you toward your dream, but choose your action wisely. Dean Acheson says, "The future comes one day at a time." So make sure that every day you're doing something effective towards reaching your goal.

Don't wait until the conditions are just right to take action. Investigate piano lessons if you've always dreamed of playing the piano. Look into available financial aid if your dream has always been to go to law school and become an attorney. Volunteer for a political campaign if you've dreamed of running for office. Start with a simple but purposeful action. And do something every day. How badly do you want your dream to come true? Ask yourself that question every time you feel like skipping a day. Day by day your dream will unfold. It's your story, your dream, as unique to you as the shape of your smile.

I'm listening right now and I really like "Action Item #3: "Time is your most important resource; you can do SO MUCH in ten minutes... divide your life into 10 minute units and sacrifice as few of them as possible"... Great! I "liked" and "tweeted" the youtube video.

Advertisement that sales Advertisement that sales - Plan your marketing programme. It should include commitment to capital resources. If you run a small business, you aren't likely to have a generous enough advertising budget that will allow you to run costly branding or campaign ads. Every advertisement you run must convey to your prospect a solid offer and attractive reasons to act quickly, and result in increased sales and an enhanced image of your company. Good advertising always pays its own way through increased sales and profits, improved cost-effectiveness, reduced selling costs and shortened selling cycles. A useful formula that will help you increase the effectiveness of your advertising efforts is A-I-D-A, which stands for Attention, Interest, Desire and Action. When creating an advertisement, always remind yourself that it should: (1) capture your prospects' Attention, (2) arouse their Interest in your offer, (3) create their Desire for your product or service, and (4) provide a powerful spur to Action, that is, turn your prospect into buyers. Remember, bad advertising is an unproductive expense, and good advertising is an investment in future profits!
