To Be of Service, Find Your Passion

Right. Service AND Passion. No, the two are not mutually exclusive. In fact, Peter Pamela Rose, Executive Coach and Certified Life Coach, insists that to be of best service we must find our passion. In finding what we are truly passionate about and using it with the mindset of being of service to others, we are fulfilling our reason for being. We have each been given very unique gifts, and it is our duty to share them with the world. Peter quotes Marianne Williamson: "... your playing small does not serve the world..." By playing small you deny the world that special energy that only you bring to it. Our Professional Coach, Peter, adds, "Each and every one of us is a messenger for the Universe, and the message we must deliver is in our passion!" So many of us have forgotten what we're passionate about. Some of us have put off seeking our passion until we have enough money, or the kids are grown, or when we lose weight, or whatever rationalization we've come to believe. Some of us are simply afraid to pursue our passion. These are the obstacles and old beliefs that a gifted life coach and career coach like Peter will help you free yourself from. Peter Pamela's coaching strategies include exercises and challenges that help clients discover their passion. And at the core of her belief about humanity, which filters into all of her professional coaching methods, is this belief that when we place ourselves in service to others, when we continually ask ourselves, "how can I be of service to this person or in this situation?", we are closest to the energy that created us and at our happiest. We may still experience fear, but when we apply our passion and use it to help others, we are allowing ourselves to be an instrument. We are following our divine purpose, and we are free.

Consequently, we cannot sit idly by and do nothing. To quote Johann Wolfgang van Goethe, another of Peter's favorite quotes, "Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do." And what we must do is the next right action - moment by moment, day by day, year by year - always with a purposeful searching of how we can live our passion in service to others.

In this day and time so many people are focused on "what's in it for me?" Do you feel that you may have become a bit like that? Do you question why you aren't rich or famous or have more meaningful relationships? Well, the old adage is true. You get out what you put in. Peter Pamela Rose challenges her clients to actively look for someone each day that they can help make life a little easier for and ask for nothing in return. This opens the heart and creates the promise of passion given in service to the betterment of our Universe.

Re: Service Or Product? Re: Service Or Product? - I agree with starting a Service-based Business in the economy. Here is what I think is critical: 1. Researching that your Service business has a market. 2. Marketing the Service with as much leverage as possible. 3. Product-izing the Service (aka Package Expert Knowledge). This will only help elevate you as "the" expert in your niche and make you accessible to people in different price points.
Who Said Twitter Doesn't Work...? Who Said Twitter Doesn't Work...? - Last month, the BBC World Service programme, The Strand, featured 21 year-old Icelandic pianist/composer Olafur Arnalds. Arnalds achieved extraordinary success through his internet-led project to compose 7 tunes in 7 days, post them on his website and then post links to it via TWITTER. As a result his website got thousands of visitors eager to listen to his music, catapulting him to fame and bringing his music to the attention of the BBC, who featured an interview with him on the World Service programme, The Strand! So who says Twitter doesn't work? (HINT: It does help if you have something uniquely your own that other people want to get hold of...)
