1. Set Aside Time for Creativity. It is an ongoing process to be creative, not just a one time occurrence. You should see being creative as an important part of your work. It's not just something to do if you get around to it or only if something happens to come to mind. In order to consistently reap the benefits of the creative side of your mind, you should set aside time each and every day for creative thinking, free thinking, innovative problem solving, etc.

When you give your mind such 'freedom appointments' regularly, it not only leads to many creative ideas but also keeps your mind fresh and sharp.
