Dedicated hosting offers the greatest capacity for sites, but is lots more expensive. It's ideal for multiple sites, complex ecommerce sites and huge sites; this type of hosting is usually used by large conglomerates.

Virtual hosting offers the same advantages in terms of the control you have, speed and security. For small to medium business who want peace of mind about the server they use and to ensure they get the most out of a server system virtual servers are a good choice.

So if you want to ensure your busy business website stays up and running, that it runs quickly and effectively, that it's not put at risk by sharing with other sites and that you can control elements like maintenance, updates, RAM, operating systems and the software you use then you should choose to use a vps hosting company.
