Self Storage Investing Webinars Can Hold Valuable Tips

Self storage investing can be a difficult industry to get into. As with any real estate investing, it can be overwhelming at first to even begin to learn about all the rules, laws, and regulations that come with owning a self storage property. However, there are several great resources online that can help individuals learn about buying their first self storage property. Besides e-books and white papers about self storage investing, there are also webinars that can be great resources. Some people learn best via the spoken word, so webinars can really work for audio learners. Additionally, many webinars are also accompanied by PowerPoint presentations, which can help viewers identify key points and make it easier to take notes.

One of the greatest benefits of webinars is the fact that in most cases, they can be watched live or accessed afterwards to be re-watched. During live versions, viewers can usually ask questions and the presenters can answer them in real time. Recorded versions are also a great alternative because they can be re-watched several times to allow the material to soak in.

Many times, self storage webinar creators are looking for ideas and feedback regarding their content, so don't be afraid to let them know what type of content you'd like to see and what questions you have. In many cases, that same question has either been asked before or others are wondering about it as well. A strong viewer-leader relationship can help both sides get the most out of webinars.

Re: Invest in Real Estate or Stocks? Re: Invest in Real Estate or Stocks? - I want to reiterate what Barb said, be prepared for the long run. Investing in stocks and real estate myself, I highly recommend learning as much as you can about both. Find a great mentor in both areas as well if you can. But always, always, remember that you buy both and WAIT. There's no flipping around or you can lose alot! Jude
