Re: How Much Of Ourselves Should We Give Away...? - what a great topic david start here, it reminds me of a movie i watched resently called KUNFU PANDA. The movie is all about keeping secret. there were two secret kept: the secret of dragon scroll and secret of cooking, later the secret was revealed which was no secret kept. the reason am relating this movie with the topic is that, you can give out 90% for free and hold on to 10% secret which will make you have more customer and traffic. I know some marketers both the internet and offline that will give you 100% product for free but whenever they want to sell to you the little one you will be glad to respond because of their gesture. What I would like to say is that giving out most of the product is a great marketing strategy to win more buyers to your future products.
Re: Taking Your Online Business Offline? - Hi David, Appreciate the input. The only thing I don't like about "takeyourbusinessonline" is that it's a little narrow. I don't want the site to be just about offline businesses going online. I want to offer services for businesses already online and other websites that are looking for marketing work. Here are some good keywords I came up with: web marketing services internet marketing help website marketing services online marketing service I haven't checked domain availability against any of these, but these would seem to fit my overall purpose of the site. I'm half partial to "internet marketing help" for some reason. Don't know what you all think about it, but I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks!
Re: New SEO Seminar - Hi JBunion & samin I am confused on how your comments are helping anyone in this "Sales & Marketing" forum learn anything about internet marketing by your posts. I would like to keep this forum a place where internet business owners can learn how to do internet marketing themselves. You must have a great deal of experience in internet marketing. What things in specific (please list out) can ones only learn from experience? I feel people could learn from your experience. Can you share any of your experiences with us? I do understand there is nothing like hands on experience. Maybe you can set up a free online course for people to "experience" this. Jeff
Re: Which is the best for beginners? - In the present scenario internet marketing is the new revolution in the online business. You can make a website and promote it on internet. you can also earn through ad sense and even you can do affiliate marketing. If you want to start new business at your own, you can start easily from a website.
Re: Is any one making money with twitter here? - I make no secret about my opinion that twitter is about one small step above worthless when it comes to getting quality traffic and actually making money from it. There are numerous other things that are much more worthwhile to do with your time that will create far better results for your business than twitter will. With that being said, if you really want to use your twitter account to actually make a little extra money then the services I have listed on my makemoneytweeting.com site are the best way I have found to do it. A few thousand followers and you'll probably get around $5 per tweet. Maybe more, maybe less. That is not much money at all but when you consider the services are free and you really don't have to do anything other than sign up and approve tweets, all of which takes about one minute, it becomes worth it. I think GT gave a very good explanation for his use of twitter. I personally don't fully agree with it for myself, but we all have our own methods and the beauty of having our own online businesses is that we can run them any way we want. In my opinion, twitter is a fad that has either hit its peak already or soon will (at least as far as internet marketers are concerned), and then it will be all but forgotten when the next "cool" thing comes out that everyone jumps on. In the mean time, I will still be utilizing the internet marketing strategies that have worked for years and won't be going away any time soon.
