Why The Internet will be Unfazed By The Recession

Why the Internet will remain unfazed by the recession This article was published by Aaron Parkinson who is co founder of the Networking company I have partnered with I would like to share this as It comes from a reputable source and since I've alreadytried the bricks and Mortar approach I thought I would take his advice!

Everybody knows the world economy has taken a big dip. People are being laid off and institutions that were once thought to be untouchable are falling like flies. What most people do not understand is that the internet is still growing. There are, in fact, over 1.4 billion people who are currently on the net. Traffic to websites grew by 50%-100% in 2008. This happened during the worst economic year that anyone can remember.

Statistics show that over $200 billion was spent online in the U.S. last year.

So what does that mean to you? Simple. You need to learn internet marketing.

Think about it from this perspective: If you want to be wealthy (or even just secure) you have to be self-employed.

Now your choices are

1. Start a brick and mortar business.

2. Start an internet business.

Have a look at any street USA. Seriously, go count how many people are walking around spending money. The streets are near dead. Now imagine opening a store that sells TVs or groceries or art supplies. Where are the customers? Now compare that to something like Google where you can access 1000 people per day in your niche almost overnight. It doesn't even really seem fair. I personally only have one brick and mortar business and it is because 2000 people per day are brought straight there from a cruise ship. All my other businesses are online because, frankly, that is where the money is.

So the question then becomes where do you start?

Well it depends on what you like.

If you want to create your own product I suggest Frank Kern.

If you want to market someone else's product I would suggest

mlmleadsystempro.com

the rich jerk maybe even Arbitrage Conspiracy

If you are looking for a full service education system with pre-built websites and a professional call centre to help close your sales then I would suggest you put your details in the opt in box and I can show you the business model I use to earn money from home.

At the end of the day I don't care what you choose. Just choose something. My experience over the last five years have been nothing short of amazing. The people I have met, the places I have been, and obviously the money are out of this world.

My note: I think I'd rather take the advice from someone making a 6 figure income than my accountant who's making wages -Think about it!

Re: Who inspired you to start? Re: Who inspired you to start? - Hi Evan, I was inspired by Mr. Bill Gates ever since I was a student learning Computers. But I was motivated for Internet as my Business, when I read his book "The Road Ahead" in 1995. It was in this book that Gates laid out his vision of an interconnected world built around the Internet. Based on the premise that life will be transformed by the convergence of inexpensive computing and inexpensive communications, Gates drew from his experience at the center of the personal computer revolution to give insights on the growth, evolution and impact of technology. I had always looked up to Bill Gates as my idol. When I read this book, it made me more focussed on Microsoft and Internet, The Internet was one of the upcoming things in this time. So I took over to the Internet as my primary business. Regards,
Re: Poll: Which would you live without? TV or Internet? Re: Poll: Which would you live without? TV or Internet? - Hi Evan, I have to admit that I do enjoy TV but mostly for sport or educational programs. However, I can honestly say that since I went on the Internet, it has changed my life forever like it has for everyone around the world. When I say it has changed my life, I don't mean it in a soppy way but just in everyday things like research, booking a holiday, shopping, renewing tax or driving license etc, all of which you can do online and that is before my Internet activities. Therefore I have to say in answer to the question, I would miss the TV but I would miss the Internet much more. regards, Mal.
Re: Has The Recession Hit Your Business? Re: Has The Recession Hit Your Business? - Hi, Yes I think it is only natural that the recession affects all businesses and the Internet is not immune to this. Hopefully enough people will see that the Internet is a way to make money and to offset the problems they are having so we all have to remain positive, regards, Mal.
WSI Franchise WSI Franchise - I considered looking at the WSI model before starting my business. I think anything Internet related is going to be hot - everyone needs to get their website ranked highly and most entrepreneurs don't know what to do to about it. WSI is the biggest Internet optimization franchise but I found them to be too expensive.
