Re: Twitter List and Hash Tags? Re: Twitter List and Hash Tags? - Yes, GT. Now, I have two lists and am following 30 people with similar interest. But, they are not following me. As you said, they will follow you. I am finding a way to post something on these two lists. Both the lists are public and how do one post interesting content on these two lists? It seems to be funny thing. Has anyone done this? Thanks, Robert
Google adsense question - hits up, income the same Google adsense question - hits up, income the same - For the month of January, the hits on my various sites have trebled. Trebled! (By hits, I mean hits recorded by my Adsense tracker, not hits on individual webpages, since I don't have a webcounter on all my pages - but they all have AdSense ads on them.) And yet, my "click thru rate" or whatever the technical term is, has remained the same. I find this hard to believe. If my hits have trebled, my clicks should at least double! Has anyone heard that AdSense has trouble with people somehow figuring out how to divert one person's income into their account? I forget the technical term for it... Anyway, I'm getting annoyed, so just thought I'd ask. Does anyone else have a similar problem?
Re: Google adsense question - when they're down Re: Google adsense question - when they're down - It seems like every Saturday or Sunday, the Google Adsense website - where you check your income for th e day - goes down for about 6 hours. The last couple of times this has happened, I've noticed that, when it comes back up, my hits have not increased. In other words, not only is the website down, but any ads are not recording hits or worse... income. I know my traffic goes down on the weekend anyway, I'm wondering if its not because people are out and about, but rather because Google is sending any hits that day into a neverland. Has anyone else noticed this trend?
Sports trumps politics... Sports trumps politics... - Last night about midnight I put a Youtube video of Barack Obama's "57 state" gaffe on my political blog, and a Youtube video of Lebron James telling his mother to sit down, during the Cavs/Celtic game last night. Announced both videos on Digg. It's 11 am my time. The Obama post has 7 hits. 7! The Lebron post already has over a thousand hits. And 4 clicks on AdSense! (Which just goes to show the ratio of hits to AdSense clicks...)
Re: Sports is queen! Re: Sports is queen! - Playoff time is always a profitable time for me.... The baseball playoffs are now going on... I've got a website for a young star named Jacoby Ellsbury - he made a great defensive play and did some good things offensively in the Red Sox' first game against the Angels on Wednesday, and today the hits on his site are going through the roof. Only one Google Adsense click, though! But I'm hoping to see somethign from Amazon tomorrow, as I've got his jersey, and a poster, and the 2007 World Serious win DVD for sale there.... As long as the Red Sox stay in the playoffs, I anticipate the hits on his website to continue to rise to probably treble what they are during the regular season... I just hope they start hitting those google ad sense ads!!!! Doesn't matter how many hits you get on a website page if nobody clicks on those ads....
