Birthday Thoughts

It was my birthday on Saturday. The e-mails, voicemails and texts from loved ones wishing me well brought me lots of joy. Last year I had 7 parties to celebrate a milestone birthday, but this year I played polo in the morning and had a small gathering with close friends in the evening. I’m going to take the upcoming weekend off to reflect on where I am in my life. I want to narrow my focus. I need to not chase after every shiny thing.
