We need more Antonio Lucios in this world

Antonio Lucio, PepsiCo's Senior Vice President of Insights and Innovation, sent me this brief list of beliefs after reading Never Eat Alone.

I would like to share, in my own words, some of the people centric philosophy that we share:

Live to Wow the world....work, family and friends
Leadership is all about creating environment where people can achieve extraordinary things.
Be curious about people and you will learn for life.
To build relationships you always need to add value first.
Do not ask to be mentored.... Build a relationship with people you admire by advancing their agenda... all else will follow
Dinners are for non business talk.... But critical for true bonding with business associates
Follow through on your word and commitment always.
Vulnerability is an asset.... Not a weakness
Legacy is measured only by the impact you have on the people you touch
Balance... is only and issue for those who do not know what they want out of life.

I must admit that as interested as I was in following through your book...it gave me a profound sense of sadness. Keith, what you and I believe boils down to one word...Humanity. The fact that it needs to be taught is mind boggling..... And does not say too much about the culture we live in. But I am not discouraged. I live to bring humanity to all the environment in which I play. Indra does too. I am glad to see that we all connect at this deeper level.

Also, if you're curious, here's a whitepaper Antonio recently wrote on "Truth in Advertising," following a roundtable discussion with CMOs sponsored by Harvard Business Review.

Re: Lost memo Re: Lost memo -
WHAT?! Men still run the world? Sorry...I must not have received that memo![/quote:1alr0b3e] I dont' want to get into a political/religious debate - this ain't the place... but there's a great deal of the world that is run solely by men, and more and more countries are being taken over by such men with a certain mindset toward women that isn't healthy for women's future standing as a human being with a right to walk around without her face covered, etc. etc. You should rephrase it... "Men still run the western world?"
Re: Newbie from Africa Re: Newbie from Africa -
Welcome to the forums Biiyke! You asked if we know any sellers who were trying to reach the African market... I think you'd honestly have more luck going the other way - try to find sellers in Africa and sell to the rest of the world.[/quote:22gvtxlq] Hello Evan, You are absolutely correct.Thank you for your advice. That's actually the whole idea,Africa to the world and the world to Africa. Advertising is the essential Advertising is the essential - Yes, for sure without advertising there is no world of Market. In this busy world no one is having time to know about the products on there own. The only way they get to know the products are Ads. Many of them get attracted to the Products by the way there are promoted in the Ads. Products ranging from 1 Rupee to 1 Lac is getting Promoted. It’s enssential
