A Sudden Inspiration

Article Overview: It continually amazes me how things come my way, from the outside and from the inside, as the following poem did directly after saving my story about Mr. Perlman. I had written this poem in 2003 as a tentative introduction to my new book. I can’t think of any time more fitting than to send it to you all now. Consider it a love poem to you all, and to all the Dreamers everywhere.

A Sudden Inspiration

It continually amazes me how things come my way, from the outside and from the inside, as the following poem did directly after saving my story about Mr. Perlman. I had written this poem in 2003 as a tentative introduction to my new book. I can’t think of any time more fitting than to send it to you all now. Consider it a love poem to you all, and to all the Dreamers everywhere.

When You Woke Up This Morning
When you woke up this morning, all was before you. The sun, the moon, the stars, the planets, the earth, and all upon the earth, and every stunning galaxy, and the galaxies within every single galaxy, and every joyous living thing was before you, waiting in its place as though ordered to be still, so that you could emerge from your sleep to engage, to play your part, to begin the dance, the holy promise, the whirling, the song, the breath.

And that mystery has happened every day of your life.

And that mystery will happen every day of the rest of your life, until that day when you no longer wake up to play.

But, even then, it will all go on.

It will all go on.

Breathe into it, Sleeper.

Breathe into it, and awaken to play.

Describe Your Inspiration/Motivation - I'd like to open up discussion with the group to identify how us entrepreneurs keep you goals insight without loosing Inspiration for what got you going initially. Being an Entrepreneur can be a lonely road at times and I'd like to dig up and have people describe the fire they hold inside. I'm hoping that through this exercise I can acknowledge and become aware of my fire that I'm having trouble verbalizing.
Re: What inspires you? - Inspiration is nothing it is what you called to do? Some work for money, some work for satisfaction, some work because they have priorities in life. It is the passion to do something for achievement or to show that you can do it by using one's talent. I know there are people who are doing great things with their limited skill sets. So, my view point about inspiration is to Dream Big and try to achieve it. I would rather add "Listen to your self". Listen to Inner guide and follow it. You will reach great heights. Robert
