Oooh my that hurts. The shock of suddenly being told that your business isn’t making any money.
How could anyone not know that?
I mean how could anyone who owns a business not know that he’s not making any money?
Where has he been, for God’s sake?
But, that’s exactly what I have experienced over and over and over again with countless small business owners, entrepreneurs all, who suddenly wake up to the shout…BANG BANG, YOU’RE DEAD!
It’s their bookkeeper, or their accountant, or their banker, or simply a good friend, who, for whatever reason suddenly woke up and said to himself, “I wonder if Jocko’s making any money?,” took a look and found out, hey, wow, not by a long shot!
And then decided to tell you.
Well, where has he been all this time?
Your accountant, your bookkeeper, your friend, or…please don’t take this too much to heart…your Coach, your Mentor, your Personal trainer, your Expert who is helping you wriggle through the mysterious shoals small business growth…where has he been all this time?
For that matter – need I ask it again? – where have YOU been?
Which is the point of this little missive…do not wait to find out!
Every day, yes, every single day, listen to my message, and find out where the money is today!
How much came in? How much went out? How much is left over at the end of the day?
And don’t think I’m being fanatical about this.
Run for the money as fast as your little legs can carry you.
Trust no one in this.
No one is looking out for your welfare.
No one.
No one is handling your money to the degree it needs to be handled.
