The three most important activities an entrepreneur needs to engage in on a regular basis to become successful are:


1) Continue Dreaming: Continuous dreaming, constantly asking questions about favorite assumptions; pushing the edge of his/her imagination, everywhere and every way



2) Read: Read novels, poetry, spiritual, news, anything but business books, and anything other than what he/she would normally be interested in;


3) Continual Improvement: Creating new ways of doing old things, testing them in his/her business, continually improving them.

I recently gave a presentation about social media marketing, where I talked about the importance of aligning activities with goals and having metrics that track your progress towards those goals. If you're experimenting with online marketing, there's a good chance you'll find some activities are more effective than others. In my experience, you'll increase your chances for success if you're disciplined about establishing goals and metrics (how you'll measure progress) but flexible on activities as you respond to customer feedback and results. If your website is still new I would concentrate more on adding content to it in the form of articles. The more content you have the greater the chance that your website will be listed by Google and other search engines and this will give you good exposure, it will also help to increase backlinks to your site which will result in more traffic.
