Testimonials

"Cheryl has been an awesome team leader.  I can call on her anytime when I do not know why things are not working or progressing. She always has new ideas and helps me take an honest look at what I am doing.  I was constantly sick and no one knew why.  I looked over her information on toxicity and followed some basic eating recommendations and I am so much healthier today.  I would recommend her as a team leader to anyone." - Linda Shelton

"Working with Cheryl has been a strange experience.  She can help me find the good in almost any situation.  She is constantly sharing with me that what I always call insurmountible problems are opportunities.  With her help, I have moved up in my company and I can definitely say I have a brighter outlook today." - Julie Wylie

"The first time I worked with Cheryl, I thought she was crazy.  She told me I was spending to much time on my business and that if I spent less, I would do better.  The stranger thing was, she was right, when I started working on what she calls life balance in my business, it did improve and my family says I am more fun too." - Robert Schwarz

"Working with Cheryl in her nutrition business has been interesting. She has brought a whole new slant and face to working an MLM business without cold calling.  I came to her, she did not come to me.  She has been teaching me to do the same thing.  The more I am out in the world, giving back to others, the more people are wanting to work with me." - Richard Abbott

Life Skills Coach Expert - Is it Safe to Start Up a Business in Today's Economy?

How safe is it to start up a business in today's economy? That is dependent on many factors. What is the idea, is it unique? Will it fill a niche that is not being filled in your area? Does it require real estate location? How much money do you have for start up costs? Advertising? When making a decision to to start a business, these are but a few of the factors that need to be considered.

In July of 2009, the Federal Reserve Board released information that loans were declining. This was due to two factors, banks are tightening standards and terms for all types of business loans. The other factor was that fewer people were applying, most likely because they know that they don't have the credit or fear the risk in the current economy. This means without a unique idea and good credit that a bank can get behind, chances of a business loan are fairly low for starting a business.

A positive note, however, is that the Labor Department also reported in July that wholesale prices actually dropped. This is good news because when wholesale drops consistently, the consumer will usually see a drop. On the reverse, if wholesale inflation remains up, that is eventually passed on to the consumer. If this continues, it could mean the coming end of the current recession. These numbers will have to be monitored for consistent drop before the consumer will see it in the long run, however.

So what do you do if you don't know if your idea is a high risk or if you know you have poor credit. Well, if it is something you make, try a test run with an eBay store. See how the national market responds to your product.

Is it a business you can run from home for awhile? Can you market what you are doing from weekend shows? Can you start online and slowly move out to a solid location? Again, much of this depends on the type of business start up you are hoping to get going. A restaurant without a strong fresh niche may struggle today given that there is much competition and the profit margin on a restaurant is slimmer then many other businesses...

Life Skills Coach Expert - Structure is Important to the Success of a Home Business!

One of the biggest mistakes that home business owners make is that in the attempt to build a business they lose sight of the very thing they wanted when they started. Most people begin home businesses to either supplement their income or to be home with family. However, if a person is locked in at their computer desperately seeking to drive sales or spending more then they are earning, they have lost sight of the very thing they were seeking.
Structures in life are necessary. Without them the human, unless naturally the high structures type spoke of in a previous article, will wander aimlessly from task to task. This is easy to do when promoting online because one site will lead to another. Each offering to nickle and dime the business owner with small costs to promote their URL. Each one seems small but when added up over the month, can be a large chunk if not exceed the advertising budget set aside.

The first thing to do to structure a home business is figure out the working hours. Are they while the baby is napping? In the evening when the spouse is home? Pick a set number of hours a day and the times that they are normally set aside for. This is flexible of course, that is the attraction of a home business. But on the normal, no appointments, no business meetings day, when will the home business entrepreneur be working?

The second thing to do is figure out what needs done in that time. How much time is needed to return emails and phone calls? How much time will be spent marketing online? How much time will be used in presentations? Deliveries? What ever ythe business needs done, allocate a time amount for it for the week. Now looking at these two things. Figure out what days and how much time on that day will be devoted to each of the indentified tasks needing accomplished...

Life Skills Coach Expert - World Vision-My Charity of Choice

I have been a sponser of a World Vision child for Two years now. I want to help do more. Clean water, schools and a chance at a future are so important. Join me and help me raise $1,000000.00 for this vital organization.

Here is some information from them and please go look at their page worldvision.org if you are unfamiliar.

The Need
Today, more than 26,000 children under age 5 will die from preventable or treatable causes — that means an estimated 9.7 million children in this age group will die this year. And the vast majority of all child deaths occur in developing countries.

There may be cures for their conditions, but they don't have access to the necessary medication, treatment, or immunizations.

Their parents may lack basic knowledge of nutrition, hygiene, and health care. And their governments don't have the resources to provide adequate health programs. When parents aren't healthy, they can't provide for their families' needs. And when children aren't healthy, they can't attend school or focus on their future.

Fast Facts

Every day, more than 26,000 children under the age of five die, mostly from preventable causes.

More than 25 percent of the world's infants are not immunized with critical vaccines that cost about $1.

World Vision's Response

World Vision helps bring medical care and increased knowledge of health, nutrition, and hygiene to children and families in need through these interventions...
