Testimonials

"The RSC Business Worx™ program came at the perfect time and has provided exactly what we needed to grow our business. We have exceeded our target each month in the program and in the fourth month of the six month program we are still growing exponentially. The most valuable part for us are the conversations with Business Coach Vwodek Wojczynski who has provided highly relevant coaching and support. The first couple of months, the fee for the course seemed expensive but we knew that RSC had something of value to contribute and we were committed to growing our business so we found the money. By the fifth month the same fee is the best investment we could have made in our business. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with RSC Business Group and taking our business to the next level." – Mimi and Alan Thrasher, Co-Owners, Health Promotions, Increased revenues by 1100%, Time Frame: 4 months

"The RSC Business Worx™ program is the best thing I have ever done. I got crystal clear where I was and where I want to go. The support and coaching I get is always relevant, and I highly recommend this program to my business associates."— Raquel de los Reyes

"In the short time mPowerTec has been working with RSC Business Group our experience has not only been thoroughly educational but we have been able to become more effective and organised in all areas of our business specially within the operations and finance deparments. We have also improved communications which has translated into a more effective way of working internally and externally. The performance of our executives has risen to new heights resulting in a more integrous company with more clearly defined values and more accurate vision and mission statements. I am grateful to have worked with Marden and Vwodek as my personal understanding of business strategies has taken me to a higher level of executive performance and has greatly increased my understanding of business in general. I look forward to the continued learning and business restructuring as we move into the future. I am very happy and excited to be working with RSC Business Group." — Jair Cayetano, COO mPowertec

"On behalf of Eric Stone Studios, we would like to express our deepest and most sincere thanks and appreciation for your insights, expert coaching and graceful manner... During the time of our work, we tripled the size of the studio, started six new programs and doubled our net income while stabilizing our expenses... We not only highly recommend your services to individuals, corporations, and growing small businesses but also consider your kind of consulting an absolute necessity in this ever-changing, fast paced economic climate."— Eric-Phillipe and Nora Stone, Co-founder/Directors: Eric Stone Studios

"I look at where my life is now and I am amazed. There is not one area that has not been touched by the RSC Business Group approach. My earnings have tripled. I can now say that I am truly happy, and I do things knowing that my actions have been carefully designed and are not random acts...No more of that! Thank you in advance for what the next six months will bring, I can hardly wait." — Jovin Montanaro, Identity Incorporated

Toronto Business Coach Credentials

Toronto Business Coach - Courant Article Coincidental Events Can Open The Door To Opportunities

People get stuck for any number of reasons. Something personal happens, like a diagnosis of arthritis. That's what forced Ruta Fox to build a career requiring far less time sitting behind a computer. Her Divine Diamonds Inc. sells the Ah Ring she created — "a" for "available" and "h" for "happy" — a diamond ring for single women that generated more than $1 million in first-year sales out of her New York City apartment. More frequently, but no less significantly, an unforeseen development occurs at work. You don't get the sale you were expecting. A market fizzles. The dollar is devalued. You realize that you're lacking a skill you need to be effective. There's no opportunity in sight.

But there is. Howard Melamed is president and CEO of CellAntenna Inc. in Coral Springs , Fla., which had 2007 sales of $6.5 million from systems and installations enhancing cellular communication within buildings. He maintains that "opportunities advance us on a personal basis, and they don't have to be financial. They are the only way we can develop." Where will you find them? Right in front of you, according to Melamed, who says, "I believe they're already there. I use coincidental events as key to seeing opportunity. Look for coincidences. Recognize that they're there. You don't have to wait for a coincidence if you're fishing in the right pond. If the situation isn't working, move the boat into a new pond. Do something different so that you have a whole different viewpoint and see different people. Shift. Find something else to sell or do. You can't wait for the person to knock on the door." He follows his own advice. In 1992, he moved from his native Canada to Florida , largely because of the stronger economy. His previous construction company was mostly idle, down to building about three houses per year, in great contrast with what he saw in Florida. Exactly one day before Hurricane Andrew hit, Melamed found his contractor's license in the mailbox. The hurricane created opportunity — opening a new construction company during rebuilding. "This is coincidence," he explains.

Vwodek Wojczynski is regional executive manager and business consultant at RSC Business Group Inc., which trains and coaches business owners and is headquartered in Los Angeles . Wojczynski was a self-employed graphic designer with clients in North America and Europe. He noticed in business meetings that people weren't listening to him. "I wasn't really grounded in what I said," he notes, "and was easily pushed aside. I wasn't strong, and I wasn't exactly a great listener. People might have seen me as arrogant. I went all over the place, didn't stay focused." He got coaching and successfully overcame his own weaknesses, then noticed an amazing coincidence, that other people need training, too. A light went on with the realization that he could take his new skills and find opportunity in the field of training. Wojczynski did the opposite of what most people do. "Mostly," Melamed says, "they hesitate. They lack the confidence to do something about something that comes their way." Wojczynski maintains that people become immobile because of their addiction to something or their fear of losing something. He says this applies to him, too, but he acted after listening to others. "They felt I had more to offer," he says. Melamed advises moderation when you're about to seize an opportunity. "Grab it, check it out, and explore it," he suggests. "Don't just go whole hog and put your life savings in it. Trying and trying [in place] leaves you stagnant and prepared to fail. You have to go out there." In other words, remember to move the boat.

Toronto Business Coach Methodology

The RSC Methodology is a synthesis of over 20 years experience, and is based on successfully designing and building over 750 organizations.

1. Business as an Integrated System = Results are produced

While every business (and every individual) is unique we believe that business has common component parts, operating as an integrated system. Much like a human body, if one part is getting exactly what it requires (nutrition for example) then every other area is impacted. We feel great and we are able to produce results. The same is true for business. So, for us, we don’t fix a business because we don't believe anything is broken - ever. All we do is add parts that are missing. In the case of a human body, the part that can be missing is exercise. In the case of a business it can be a marketing process that resumes the flow of the organization. Ultimately, what make this approach effective is that it allows our clients to produce the result they want on demand through the process of integration by making the organization whole and complete.

2. Process Driven = Your experience is managed

We believe any result can be reproduced if there is a documented process for individuals to follow. Being process driven also allows us to manage people’s experience as we move through change and ambiguity, and we ensure that the experience of the owner and of the organization as an entity (including the people on the front line and the middle managers) is managed according to business conditions.

3. Enhancing what’s present = People enhance their strenghts

What makes our methodology truly unique is that we work with people just the way they are. We believe that individuals do not need to change to produce results. While others seek efficiency and cost savings through business re-engineering, we use the same business re-engineering processes to augment people’s performance. We believe in effectiveness as well as efficiency.

4. Proactive Coaching Methodology = Partnership

We believe in being proactive. We find that when we follow up, check in and manage our client’s progress we become far more effective and produce the desired result. Naturally, in the course of life itself, this approach leads to partnership with our clients as we build strategies, create solutions and invent pathways for the owner(s) of the business.

Toronto Business Coach Case Studies

Event Production - Grew revenue from $6,000 per month to $1,200,000 per year - Time Frame: 1 Year, 6 months
Repositioning of a company. The client was losing money in the projector business. At the initial interview his monthly revenue was $6,000 and there were no profits being generated for the company. Through our coaching relationship, the business was restructured and the business grew to $1.2 million in sales by shifting from selling products to delivering services.

Acupuncturist - 1,000% earnings increase - Time Frame: 6 months
When we began this coaching relationship, this client was fresh out of acupuncture school and was making $800 a month working full-time for someone else. Within 3 months of coaching, she began generating $8,000 per month in sales. The marketing strategy was to use a proactive as opposed to a reactive approach to well-being using the Chinese model of medicine of keeping the patient healthy versus treating them when they get sick. By taking on the position of causing and maintaining optimal health in her patients her business flourished.

Multi-business owner - 1,000% increase in profits - Time Frame: 3 years
The client started out as a retail/wholesale clothier, who hated paying high taxes. Through our coaching relationship, we had the client shift his focus to hitting $1 million in taxes to get him motivated to make more money than he ever imagined. As he expanded his businesses and profits, he paid $4,000 per year in taxes for the first year, $10,000 for the 2nd year and $40,000 the 3rd year. He now displays a check to the IRS for $1 million near one of his cash registers.

Computer Parts Business to Mini-conglomerate - 600% revenue increase - Time Frame: 2 Years
The coaching relationship took him from being a computer shop owner to mini-conglomerate. By shifting his focus to expanding the company, he founded a computerized design company that sold automated machines for clothing design and management. From there, he then sold maintenance contracts and then wrote the programs to run those machines. With his profits he invested in strip malls, then built a small computer design facility and sold cheap software to a budget-conscious market. The business went from $200,000 in sales to $1.2 million in 2 years.

Business Consultant - 400% revenue increase - Time Frame: 3 Years, 5 months
At the initial interview this client was making $60,000 per year and was heavily in debt. We looked at the client’s goals, resources and the client chose to sell her condominium for a profit and then eliminated the debt load by restructuring real-estate loans. Taking advantage of her ability to work in different departments in large corporations, we began marketing her skills to different audience and in the first year of our coaching relationship this consultant increased her revenue to $125,000, and then to $250,000 in the second year.

Video Production - 290% revenue increase - Time Frame: 12 months.

He also created a website and provided a pathway for actors and mentored them on how to be successful in the entertainment industry.

Realtor - 160% earnings increase - Time Frame: 1 Year, 5 months
At the initial interview, this client was averaging about $2,000 per month in earnings. Together we came up with a better way to market her services. 6. At what point in my business would it be of value to have a coach? Whether your business is just starting up, is ready to expand, or is expanding more rapidly than you can keep up with, or you need to rethink your strategies, you and your business will benefit from having a business coach help you develop a clear picture of where you want your business to go.

7. What happens in a coaching session? During your coaching session your coach will explore your goals, vision, and dreams. Together you will develop a powerful strategy for achieving them, and choose what action is required to meet those objectives. Your coach will ask the questions and listen to your answers. Your coach will offer powerful observations and practical advice when appropriate and they will make requests that will challenge you to step outside your self-imposed boundaries.

8. What are some of the things my coach will ask me to do? Your coach will challenge you to think differently and see your situation in a more positive light. You will take an honest look at your skills and resources. You will identify the gaps between where you are and where you need to go. You will develop a plan of action and find the resources needed to reach your goals. You will receive constructive feedback, be held accountable and enjoy the success from your efforts.

9. What results can I expect for my business from hiring a coach? You will see ways to shift your business from earning revenue to making a profit. You will learn how to attract clients rather than go after them. And you will design your business so that you enjoy going to work every day, and will have the peace of mind knowing your business will continue to function well while you go on vacation.

10. What results can I expect for me? You will feel energized, directed and have a clear sense of purpose. People excel when they are clear about what they want and why they want it. Clarity allows clients to focus their energy and skills to bridge gaps between where they are and where they want to be. Our job is to help you be successful by helping you see what you want to achieve and take the necessary action.

11. How is coaching different from consulting and therapy/personal counseling? Business coaching can involve consulting when it is appropriate for the coach to offer the client advice based on skills, expertise, and training. It is also similar in that the best answers almost always come from the client. The most important distinction is that the coach stays with the client to help implement the new skills, changes, and goals, and to make sure that results really happen. Business coaching is not therapy. Coaches don’t work on “personal issues” or dig into your the past. Self-knowledge often comes as clients move forward toward personal and professional goals that will give them the life they really want, but it is not the focus of a business coaching relationship. Business coaching is about the future and about achieving desired results. Coaches will refer to a therapist when the client needs to resolve personal issues to move ahead.

12. Why is coaching becoming so popular? Coaching is becoming popular for several reasons:

  • Many people are tired of doing what they think they “should” do and are ready to do something special and meaningful for the rest of their lives. One challenge is that many can't see what this is or, if they can, they can't find a way to reorient their life around it. A coach can help them do both.
  • People are realizing how simple it can be to accomplish something that several years ago might have felt out of reach or like a pipedream. A coach does have a large tool kit to help the Big Idea become a Reality. Fortunately, people now have time and resources to invest in themselves in this kind of growth.
  • Spirituality. While care should be taken to distinguish spirituality from religion, many coaches are spiritually based - even the ones who coach IBM and AT&T. The world is becoming more spiritual very quickly. The coach helps clients to tune in better, to themselves and to others.

13. How has coaching evolved? In the early days of modern coaching (early 1980s) the focus was on “take actions to get results.” By the early 90's the approach expanded to include the strategy of “increase your range of competencies and you'll get better results.” By the early 2000’s the coaching approach expanded to include the notion of “crafting environments in order to accelerate the outcomes.” All three approaches can be effective. Well-trained coaches are facile with all three approaches. Some coaches may not deliver the coaching “live.” Given the advancement of software and computers, situational solutions crafted by the coach (and perhaps a network of coaches) can be accessible to clients who can self-serve many of their coaching needs and who will turn to the coach “live” only when they need specialized attention. However, RSC Business Group currently provides all of its coaching live, e.g. face to face, videoconference, teleconference, webmeeting or by phone.
