Jenna Jameson Quotes

The most important thing to me right now is to become the biggest star the industry has ever seen.

Wicked launched me into superstardom, but I was determined to become my own boss.

I’ve always wanted to be a star.

I think my life is one everyone can relate to at one point or another in their own lives; and hopefully my surviving so many of the things I did will help them believe they can overcome anything as well.

I used to practice with the TelePrompTer when I was young, because my father was a television producer.

Was I in this business because I was victimized or because I wanted to succeed at something? I examined it from every angle I could, and every time came to the same conclusion: that it didn't make a bit of difference…Whether it happened to me or not, I still would have become a porn star.

All I know is that when I lay my head down at night, I feel comfortable and I'm happy, and I guess that's all that really matters…. I don't allow any kind of unhappiness anymore. I've been through it all, and there's no need, at 32, to sit and be sad.

Not doing my movies doesn’t mean retirement. It means more work – and more money.

At the height of my career, we released two [movies] a year. I seriously have had less mileage than most women.

Our looks pay our bills. I get Botox and I love it. I’m very expressive and I’m trying to keep lines from appearing.

Depending on the contract, the girl usually does anywhere from six to ten movies a year. It's mostly about promoting the company. They're out on massive promotions all over the country, just having a great time and being themselves.

I haven’t done movies for quite a while now. I’m still releasing the movies that I performed in from a while ago.

I really don't feel like I have to do movies anymore. It's super exciting to be able to focus 100 percent on running my company and promoting my movies, and not have to worry about, ‘Ok, I gotta go and have sex today.’

My scene with the [new] girls introduces them to my fan base. That's my handoff of the football. Don't drop it, bitches!

It all got started about a year and a half ago. I had just started thinking about it at that time.

I realized I was at the top of my game and that the industry was going more toward the Internet and that I could reach more people. I had a website with the adult company I was under contract with, but I wasn’t really involved with it like I wanted to be…so when my contract ended I decided to put everything into it..

I’ve been totally hands-on with this project. I’m not a computer genius but I am learning.

People really seem to take notice when the star is actually involved in the development and operations of the site. I answer all my own e-mails, I do bi-weekly chats...and I take into account what my fans want to see.

I don't do just the same old crap that you see everywhere else. [The fans] e-mail me and tell me what they want to see and the next day we'll have it on the site.

You have people come in and if you just have a regular site that's not updated frequently, then the word gets out that it's not a good site. It's a small community out there. I focus on making constant updates.

It really keeps your members because then they can talk to each other, discuss things and in return become like a family. Communication is definitely the most important element.

If I were a fan, that's what I would want to see. The only downfall is that I can't look bad. I'll have to do my hair every day.

The affiliate program has really upped our membership since we launched it. In the beginning I didn't really know what it took to get this all going - it's not just like ‘I’m Jenna - join my site.’ It's a lot more involved than that.

I want to be one of the first girls out there to take advantage of the Internet. Most haven't realized how awesome and lucrative it is. I want to be one of the first who does it and does it well.

A lot of the times when adult stars try to be a CEO of their own company nobody takes you seriously or thinks you know what you're talking about. They talk down to you and act like you don't have a clue.

It's really, really sad. I run into that consistently where people are like, ‘Oh, you're just a whore.’ I will always, for the rest of my life, have to fight that stereotype.

I’ve always been very open about who I am. I’ve had a lot of bad feedback because I don’t hold my tongue.

A woman has a right to be the person that she wants to be. Relying on everybody else’s judgment is what makes this society so sick.

I’m also trying to change the way the industry is run, which is mostly headed by men who don’t take women seriously as business people. To change things for girls going into the industry, I have to continue. I want to continue.

I really think it’s important that people know that the women in this industry are empowered. They run it, man. It’s awesome.

I think I set a pace for others to follow and hopefully they surpass the things I have been able to achieve. Things are certainly more open than they have been in the past, and the opportunities are definitely out there if you'll work for them.

I’d tie her in the closet. Only because this is such a hard industry for a woman to get ahead and get the respect that she deserves. I fought tooth and nail to get to where I am, and it’s not something that I would want my daughter to go through.

This is a billion-dollar industry. So everybody watches porn. It’s just a fact of the matter.

I always embraced my hard-core roots, but becoming a household name was an important thing to me.

My name is one of the most downloaded on the Internet and my publicity through working with Howard Stern is huge. Then there're the things I've been doing with the E! Channel and the mainstream film things I'm doing too. They all add up.

My book really changed peoples' perspective. Before that, people kind of looked at me as a sex star, a porn star. Once they read the book, they realized that there are so many different layers, and that I went through things in my life that a lot of women have, and that I have the same insecurities and the same troubles and the same worries that most women have. I think that it kind of changed things for my career, once I was finally able to get honest and just be truthful with everyone with who I am as a person.

I am incredibly acceptable to not only men, but to women. I think that women feel akin to me in a way because I'm so incredibly honest about who I am as a person. I'm not this girl, [just] wearing a lot of makeup with big boobs that nobody can access. I'm normal. I'm kind of like the girl next door with a dark side.

When I started my career, my intention was to become the best. I had big plans and a lot of determination, but sometimes even I think this is beyond what I could have ever dreamed.

I've always been driven to succeed at something that hasn't always been accepted by the American public. So I think I chose the right profession.

I just want to be the best person I can be. That's the most important thing to me, that when I lay my head down at night, I feel like I bettered myself that day.

That's the kind of thing that I strive for. It's not really about how much money I have in the bank. It's about whether or not I've left my mark. And I feel like I have.

A lot of people just see this sex symbol, but I'm a pretty normal person and you'll find that out in the members' area of Club Jenna. I'm honestly just like the girl next door - well, the girl next door gone bad.

I love what I do for a living.

Facebook application Facebook application - Hi Kevin - thanks for the suggestion! The two that we were thinking of were Famous Entrepreneur Quotes and Which famous entrepreneur am I most like? I like your idea as well. We've got a rollout schedule of new features for the site that we are working on first before we can get to the Facebook app. We're also not sure how hard it is to integrate into Facebook. It looks like there is a php way to do it which is great because that is our core competency.
