The first level of membership is the Jenny TuneUp program, the most basic level of membership that is offered at various specially advertised prices. For instance, if you just want to lose 20 pounds, then pay $20 for this level and get started. It is especially designed for those clients not looking to lose a large amount, generally less than 20 pounds.
The second level of membership is Jenny OnTrack. Here, clients pay in the neighbourhood of $200, not including food, and gain the weekly consultations portion of the program, along with the basic weight loss portion.
The third level of membership in the Jenny Craig weight loss program is Jenny Rewards. This is the most expensive option at about $325 plus food, but it also includes the most number of services. Included with Jenny Rewards is the weight maintenance portion, various discounts and rebates on such things as the prepackaged foods, and also offers unlimited comeback privileges. That means that at any time after finishing the program, should a client feel the need to return, they will be able to do so.
Now, the program is not meant to hook individuals forever, but to move them through the different steps gradually until they have reached a point where the will be ok on their own in the long-term. The program focuses on three different elements to make that happen: food, body, and mind. Surprisingly (or perhaps not), Craig staff members claim that the mind element is often the most difficult to change.
Reviews of the program are mixed. While nutritionists and doctors alike praise the program for its holistic approach to weight loss, instead of just focusing on food and exercise, they question the effectiveness of the program once the client has successfully completed its various levels.
