Simon Fuller Quotes

On the first day I sat down with the girls, before we had a deal, and it was agreed that we would go for it on a worldwide basis.

My business is creating fame and celebrity. And I’m one of the best in the world. I know it to the finest detail.

They probably don’t like because I’m so nice. I’m incredibly articulate, thoughtful and moral, and I think about what I do. I want to be known for doing something good. I’m not f*****-up enough to want to be famous for doing bad things.

I could put cardboard cut-outs of you on the stage and it wouldn’t make any difference.

The whole thing was my idea. I came up with the name and the embryonic group.

Dad would set up a school in the middle of a field, but built it into the best school in the area. He did that in Germany and West Africa and then back in Hastings.

It was completely against anything Dad believed in, but he was forgiving. I was lucky in that. The thing about Dad was that he was an entrepreneur at heart. Even now I feel like I’m doing what he might have wanted to do.

My business is creating fame and celebrity, and I’m one of the best in the world. I reflect what’s out there, and if there’s demand for something I recognize it. I don’t think I’m crass.

I’m about empowering people and making their dreams come true. I’m just like a child. I get so enthused.

I thought, s***, I know there’s something here. I know I can get them good songwriters and good songs.

In England, the bubble’s already about to burst.

You’ve got to get in there while it’s hot and get out before it’s cold…The clever thing is to take it and parody it.

I thought, actually, I control the biggest show in America. And we have 30 million-plus people watching every week. Maybe I could just hand over Idol for one week, and that would give us what we want.

These things can be fantastically innovative and dynamic and not just ploddy old telethons. But, hats off to [Fox], they’re supporting us. How reluctantly, I don’t know.

I'm grateful that my artists and projects are succeeding globally in such a phenomenal way.

The fate of the music industry, is not in the hands of record labels or TV companies or radio stations, but in the hands of global corporations, which have vast advertising revenues and are interested in capturing a demographic.

Americans know how to celebrate success. People in the UK think I'm too commercial, too this or too that. But who cares? Why waste energy in such a negative way?

Facebook application Facebook application - Hi Kevin - thanks for the suggestion! The two that we were thinking of were Famous Entrepreneur Quotes and Which famous entrepreneur am I most like? I like your idea as well. We've got a rollout schedule of new features for the site that we are working on first before we can get to the Facebook app. We're also not sure how hard it is to integrate into Facebook. It looks like there is a php way to do it which is great because that is our core competency.
New from UK New from UK - Hi Simon, There are only a few active members from the UK. It would be good, if you share this forum site with some of your contacts to come online too. I wish you well in your new venture. If you believe it is a gap in the market, I encourage you NOT to give up. All the obstacles will be worth it all. Regards! Beat "Unlock People's Potentials!"

[/quote:36s714h1] So far my own foray into Facebook has been a complete bust, though I expected that from the start. But if I do an Application for my own particular field of interest, such as Your Favorite Sci Fi movie...that might get people going. So Evan when you figure out how to do this please let me know how complicated it is!!
