How do you think you can help other members in the forums?

I started my online business in 2003 while I was still in college. I started it from scratch and had no clue what I was doing but I did it anyway. Now, after 6 years of internet marketing, I have pretty much done it all. I can pass my knowledge and experience on to the forum members so they can learn from my successes and mistakes. I can help with affiliate internet marketing strategy, niche marketing, backlink building, SEO, blogging, and pretty much everything else that goes along with online business.

What do you like most about the EvanCarmichael.com Forums?

I like that there are so many people here who are willing to help others. It's a community, not just a forum. Every new post gets multiple replies and the members are always giving their knowledge freely. I've seen so many forums where the discussions are very minimal and not much useful information is ever shared. That doesn't happen here.

What does your business do?

I do several things in my online business; everything from affiliate internet marketing strategy, to creating my own products in various niches, to helping other people who want to start their own internet home businesses, and much more. As a full time internet marketer I have done, or currently do, pretty much everything out there to make money online.

I first started online with my home business opportunities website. I have since branched out into several niches with numerous websites. However, that site continues to be my biggest money maker.

Why did you want to become an entrepreneur?

I started looking for jobs a few months before I graduated college and noticed several ads about working at home. At the time I had no clue what that really meant but it got me curious. I figured working for myself had to be much better than going to a regular job everyday. So, I started researching different ways to work at home and ended up joining an affiliate home business opportunity.

After that I started learning everything I could about internet marketing and even went back to school to get a marketing degree. I knew that being my own boss was the only way to truly create financial freedom and be in control of my own future. The rest is history.

Who is your favourite entrepreneur?

I don't know that I necessarily have a favorite. In the early days of my online business I followed guys like Willie Crawford, Dr. Mani, John Reese, Yanik Silver, and a few others. I learned a lot from each of them and several other affiliate internet marketing strategy guru's. I don't follow them so closely today but I still like to see what they are up to every once in a while.

These days I follow Grizzly Brears, Courtney Tuttle, and Vic Franqui very closely. They are all amazing at niche marketing to make money online and that is the best way to do it, in my opinion. I've learned more from those three guys in the past couple years than I have from everyone else combined in the past six years.

What is your favourite business book?

I have read so many that are great it's hard to say what my favorite is. One of the first business books I ever read was "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. It is definitely one of my favorites.

What is your definition of success?

Having the freedom and financial means to do what you want to do when you want to do it. There are people who make a lot of money but do nothing but work. They are slaves to their jobs. There are also people who have complete freedom to do what they want but they don't have enough money to do anything. I think a successful person has a combination of both money and time to enjoy it.
