A Few Minor Forum Tweaks

For those of you hardcore members you'll notice that I've modified the layout of the sidebar in the forums.

All the categories now have the same consistent layout and the new Contest Leaders section reflects the Triple Crown Contest leaders for the quarter (details at viewtopic.php?f=11&t=4008) instead of the monthly leaders.

Congrats to Chris and GT - it's looking like a close race for first place!

After a number of suggestions from other forum members I'm likely going to be testing out different forum layout options with no sidebar but the information being at the top and bottom of the page.

Stay tuned for details!

I like the subtle changes thus far and look forward to the additional changes yet to come.

One suggestion would be to keep the "This Month's Leaders" scoreboard up.

Hi Alan - thanks for the feedback! Since the contest is now based on quarterly results instead of monthly, the Contest Leaders section will continue to show the leaders - but only for the quarterly results.

We will also continue showing the overall leaders - looking forward to seeing you crack that list!

You're not the only one. I hardly ever use IE for anything. I have IE 8 installed, and it runs so slow and sometimes crashes. FireFox is just so much faster.

PS: Regarding "Monthly Top Poster." It may just be that you did not get to it yet, Evan, but on your website homepage, you still have the "Last Month's Top Poster" with my pic in the spot where it should now be Chris Tew.
(Of course, I know you will likely be changing it to read "Contest Leader," instead of "Last Month's ...")
