Best Internet Marketing Strategies

Postby nicolasb86 » Mon Oct 19, 2009 12:45 pm

What are the best internet marketing strategies to make serious money online?

If you want to build a highly successful home business you need the tools to do so.

4 internet marketing strategies you can implement to make serious money online:

#1: Thoroughly Research hot niche keywords; to not only attract more traffic, but to maximize the benefits of your PPC campaigns. Also, you want to find new hot niche markets.

Discovering hot niche keyword research with low competition
Is the KEY successful factor in this strategy for:

- Improving your search engine ranking/optimization
- Establish your PPC campaign
- Setting up a high quality website with targeted traffic & high relevancy
- Building high quality content/articles

#2: Sell to visitors when they’re on your website and after they leave.

You can sell to them on your website w/ a great sales letter. Ultimately, write a great sales letter with high conversion rates & building online mailing lists. So you’ll be converting traffic into sales through a sale letter and collecting personal information for further sales in the future. Focus on converting traffic into sales more than driving traffic to your site. More conversion rates= More Sales

#3: Automate your Home Based Business. Without an automated business you won’t have time to research new business ideas…so nevermind starting them up & managing them.

Example: Automate your email promotion Internet Marketing Strategy. You need an auto-responder to take responsibility here.
#4: The last best Internet Marketing strategy is to take ownership of your business by mastering yourself. Your mind is your greatest asset. They say Learning is not a destination but a journey…so learn all the time. Join Forums, Take courses, Read books on Self-growth by authors like Napoleon Hill. This will not only skyrocket your income but also your confidence.

Final thoughts: Most effective strategies are to research, sell, succeed through automation, and self improvement. You will make serious money online by taking these strategies & putting them into action.

great post. But I think the number 1 strategy to succeed is to "Take Action". Too many start and never follow through. Get caught up in the stomach moment (having a feeling of making 1,000's and seeing others do it, but you not doing anything to achieve).

To make it easier on others, you need to have a game plan as well. How much work you will put in daily, how much it will cost, what the average conversions are, how much traffic you will need, your advertising sources, and others, but just a plan.

Yes, Taking Action is necessary to build that Mental Momentum.

It's like pushing a boulder up a hill.

Agree with Game Plan; you need to plan out monthly, weekly, & daily schedules, budgets, resources, and put it in action to get the boulder up.

If you don't do these 2, it'll slide down and you'll lose motivation. Motivation only comes through work, so working if you're motivated or not well help you gain the confidence to succeed.

I'd disagree with the first point. Keyword research is important, but it should not be the complete focus when doing niche research.

A niche is typically made up of thousands of keywords, and researching them all is very difficult, because the keyword tools won't tell you what most of them are.

Plus a niche is not a bunch of keywords, it is a demographic interested in a particular topic. You need to learn about the people in this demographic. Keyword research tells you their search habits and gives clues to competitiveness and potential profit, but you are looking at through a very narrow window of a much bigger picture.

Thanks for the tips, nicolas:

You have started some good discussion drawing some insightful and inspiring comments coming from other members.

I particularly like your point #4 which focuses on personal development and continuous learning. To my thinking, that is the starting point of all success – being willing to learn and to actively seek out the knowledge you need to achieve your goals, Internet Marketing goals or otherwise.

Next to personal development, I appreciate what Matt has said about taking action. By now, I think most enlightened entrepreneurs know that knowledge is not power ... APPLIED knowledge is where the real power is.

Good point. Knowing about both the group and the keywords they tend to use is of course the best combination, but if you thoroughly understand your niche market and your products, the content you write for your website and the articles you post elsewhere will almost certainly include natural "keyword phrases" even if you don't research the keywords - and if your niche is tightly defined, that will probably suffice.

I am not saying you should ignore keyword research, but knowing your products and market is more important.

I would agree with the points on the hot keywords as well as the mastery. Any author should have the capability to not only promote but to know the aspects of his niches to explore more of its concepts, useful for sharing to its followers. The more reliable is the source, the more will be the trust gained as to the website rankings.

Personal development and knowledge are important but as Mat says without action nothing will happen. So don't spend so long learning that you fail to follow through, rather learn as you go along but do something everyday towards achieving your goal.
