Home Based Business Opportunities That Get You Out And About

Some people love nothing more than to be inside, reading informative material, typing on their computers, running reports, and making phone calls; when they drift off into visions of their dream job, images of a cubicle come to mind. Other people, though, would much prefer fresh air and room to move on a regular basis. If you’re someone who, by design, needs to regularly get out of the confines of an office, move around, and constantly break the routine, there are home business opportunities to suit that need. Though the following franchises won’t take you to Yellowstone National Park or the Ozarks, they will frequently take you out of your house, which is better than being trapped between those 4 walls all day.

ElizaJ

Possibly the most outdoorsy home based business available, this franchise often takes its owner to some of the most beautiful parks and beaches in the area. This is because ElizaJ is the premier provider of high-class portable restrooms for rent. When a bride and groom need to accommodate 200 guests with restroom facilities at their outdoor wedding but they don’t want an ordinary construction-site outhouse, ElizaJ is the only business able to provide them with units equipped with music, flushing toilets, running water, handicap access, and air conditioning. And because the business specializes in weddings and other outdoor events, the franchisee has the special privilege of not only getting out of the house, but getting to go to beautiful outdoor engagements on a regular basis.

Vehicle Tracking Solutions

Though this business doesn’t provide nearly the same outdoor access that ElizaJ franchisees get, it is still a great business for getting its owners out of the home office and into other locations. Since Vehicle Tracking Solutions is one of the only providers of GPS tracking equipment specifically designed for use in corporate auto fleets, vendors of the product spend a good deal of time making sales calls to potential and existing clients. This gives them the opportunity to move away from their computers, take a trip in the car, and go visit their clients’ places of business. They get to interact with new people as well as some they already have a standing relationship with, shake hands, and discuss business across a table instead of over the phone. And since only a small fraction of the market is equipped with the product that Vehicle Tracking Solutions supplies, there are plenty more places for franchisees to visit.

TVME Inc

Another sales franchise business, TVME Inc markets computerized media centers to businesses in the hospitality and entertainment sectors, providing a digital source for all overhead music and videos. Whether the client is a restaurant, bowling alley, or bar, the TVME Inc franchisee is always interested in finding future clients and selling them the product. As such, work often means making visits to prospective clients to sell the merchandise and return trips to past clients’ places of business to make sure that everything is continuing to work as expected. Though traveling the town is not constant for TVME Inc work at home franchisees, the trips out of the house they do get are a relief from the grind.

Vendstar

Whether you are interested in a little extra cash or a fulltime job with a steady stream of income, Vendstar vending is the way to go, and it’s perfect for the person who just needs to get out and do some work in the field. Equipped with some of the hottest-selling name-brand candies on the market, Vendstar machines promise to be profitable business tools wherever a franchisee puts them. And the more locations that a franchisee can find for his machines, the more weekly time he gets to spend on the road, visiting each site, claiming his profits, and refilling the machines with goodies. Many vending work from home business owners report that the vast majority of their work week is spent making the rounds, which bodes well for the businessman who just needs to get out.

Allstate Investment Group

Another vending franchise, Allstate Investment Group provides the same opportunity for a franchisee to get out of the house and make restocking runs as Vendstar does. The difference with Allstate Investment Group, however, is that the runs may not prove to be quite as long, because franchisees with this business have larger vending machines, designed to hold snacks and beverages. That twist on the ordinary one-product-type vending machine tends to increase sales, which means that a franchisee does not need to have as many machines running at once to turn a good profit, which in turn means that the time it takes to make the rounds and fill the machines is not as high. But, the fidgety franchisee still does get out on a regular basis.

Many business opportunities exist that allow the owner to get out into the world and get a change of scenery on a regular basis. If you need those times to get out and see more than 4 walls and a glowing computer screen, give serious thought to any of these franchises, and you won’t be disappointed.
