The Bloomtools franchise story

The franchisor needs to have strong values and an immovable vision for the success of the business and its franchisees.

Bloomtools is one such franchise, with its world class products and systems backed up by an experienced team of experts that are passionate about the internet and making a difference for businesses.

Bloomtools was founded in 2004 by technology expert James Greig out of a desire to help small to medium businesses use the internet to compete on a level playing field with the bigger guys. Bloomtools soon evolved into a website and internet marketing wholesaler with a wide network of reseller businesses, and after several successful years of this, the need in the international market called James and his fellow directors to take the next step into franchising.

“We launched our franchise business because we had developed our products to a level that was far beyond anything else on the market. While most website developers were selling behind-the-times, ineffective, hard to update online brochures, we were building simple to use, functional websites that could get more customers, make more money and save more time for businesses,” said James. “Also, we could see that small to medium businesses across the country were crying out for a reliable web solutions company with a reputable brand to help them get results from the Internet. Franchising will allow us to provide our functional websites and tools to more small businesses across the country and help them maximise the strength of this powerful medium,” he said.

The Bloomtools franchise system is simple – franchisees look after the client, while HQ’s elite team of software engineers and graphic designers build all the websites and online tools that the franchisees sell. This means that no website or design experience or skills are necessary to be a Bloomtools franchisee.

Since the launch, the interest in Bloomtools franchises has been phenomenal. “So many people want to be involved in our franchise because not only is it a viable business investment, it’s also an opportunity to actually help other people achieve success in their own businesses,” said James.

“Becoming a Bloomtools franchisee gives you a flexible, profitable business in a booming industry, as well as the challenge and satisfaction of working with other businesses to achieve real results on a daily basis.”

The business model for the franchisee is based on growth. “Most of our franchisees will start out as a one or two person operation, but once their business starts to grow, they have the opportunity to open their own specially-designed Bloomtools office with administration and sales staff,” said James. “This enables our franchisees to build a real business for themselves rather than just a job.”

To assist in their success, all new franchisees participate in a 1 week training course covering industry and business knowledge, Bloomtools products and systems and sales and marketing skills. “We are passionate about all our franchisees succeeding, so we give them all the help they need – ongoing mentoring, training, project management and technical support from the experienced team at Bloomtools here in Australia, as well as several online help resources that can be accessed 24x7,” said James.

“We have also developed a complete business administration system that helps our franchisees manage many aspects of their business. This streamlined system is linked directly to Bloomtools HQ and makes it fast and simple for them to manage their quoting, ordering, invoicing, clients, projects, business administration and support,” said James.

“When it comes to the potential to earn, Bloomtools franchisees get revenue from initial sales and ongoing residual income from monthly account payments and from selling

more to their current customers.”

So why choose Bloomtools? “What sets us apart is our wide range of world class quality products that have the depth to really make a difference to the online presence of businesses, as well as the fact that all our franchisees are backed by an experienced team that are passionate about helping them succeed,” said James.

Re: Franchising Brokers vs Franchising Consultants Re: Franchising Brokers vs Franchising Consultants - Franchise consultants are free and work with you without any obligation. they do not work for any one franchise but do get a percentage of the franchise fee when a franchisee that was registered with the franchise came from the consultant and the franchisee signs. They will try to match up your interests and skills to franchise businesses that are right for you. They can explain franchise guidelines and help you in any way they can. Franchise brokers usually get paid by the client and/ or franchise (generally get some type of commission). Additionally, they can get points or referral fee off the deal if they refer you to a lending resource too after they sell you on a franchise. Typcally they will try to sell a prospective franchisee on a larger deal so they get a larger commission.
