About 85 per cent of the hotel’s in-house guests are inbound travellers who are likely to be the prime clientele for the spa facility. Besides its in-house guests, the hotel plans to direct its marketing efforts to the local market for this facility. It will focus on advertising and developing collaterals to educate and inform the local market about the offering.

“We find a huge potential in the local clientele to use this facility. Navi Mumbai, as a market, has a huge segment of aspiring clients who will definitely be our target market. This is the first international spa in Navi Mumbai and we realise that it is the need of the market. I personally feel that it is the right brand for our hotel segment. We did not want to associate ourselves with a high-end brand like Mandara Spa as it would not fit in the positioning of the hotel.

The Chavana Spa brand and its offerings match our requirements,” said Sumit Kant, General Manager, Four Points by Sheraton, Navi Mumbai. He expects that with the addition of this facility, the hotel’s room sales will be leveraged as well.
